What about Metallica playing The Mechanix?

I think I'm slightly more partial to Mechanix. Not sure why though.

Horsemen. Honestly is this really even a debate?

It's more or less a tie for me. I pick The Four Horsemen after flipping a coin.

The Four Horsemen. Mechanix, like a lot of early speed-fuelled Mustaine stuff is just too fast and frenetic. Those are great riffs and they just whizz by too quickly to be fully appreciated, they really benefit from a slower tempo. Plus the lyrics, the ones that are actually decipherable to the ear, sound like cheesy innuendos that would be more at home in a hair metal song. Also I like the extra parts in Horsemen that were presumably non-Mustaine scribed. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Dave Mustaine and Megadeth, I just think that Metallica got it right here. Although there may be an element of bias as I heard Horsemen first and am much more used to it.

Wow, never heard of Mechanix. I can't even understand what he's saying and it's waaay too fast for such kickass instrumentals. What was he trying to prove? This song is pretty awful, in my opinion.

Haven't heard Mechanix but I like Megadeth much more than Tallica so I vote it.

Mechanix easily. Those saying it's too fast must not be big fans of thrash metal. Metallica always had a bad habit of taking a good thing and streatching it out waaaaaay to long.
