Can someone please give me a quick rundown from Smackdown's standpoint (don't c&p wikipedia, please) of the story of Jesse and Festus as a team?
What I mean by this is, vignettes that were shown and the supposed backstory.

Jesse is Festus' best friend and possibly his carer?
Something along those lines...

Jesse was originally meant to be the new Godwinn, teaming with Henry Godwinn, but then Mark Canterbury got released, and they paired Jesse up with Festus as The Dalton Boys, a pair of farmer brothers. The gimmick got dropped after Michael Cole said they got "lost on the way to the arena", and they were repackaged as Festus the docile Cornfed Colossus, and his friend Jesse. They had a few vignettes talking about a few topics, putting over the Festus character.

I think they're supposed to be cousins or something.
Either way, it's loosely based on the two main characters from the book Of Mice and Men, I believe.

I can't stand these guys. Festus actually makes me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. They should not have that ridiculous gimmick with the bell going on for over a year now. Are we all suppossed to be 7 years old and amused by this?

But recently, they've been starting to grow on me.

I wanna know why they were dressed as removal men this week, any actual reason for it? Well, it was a sneaky way of WWE saying they were moving to MyNetworkTV without actually mentioning it since the CW wouldn't allow them to talk about the move. If you looked at the logo on the moving box/uniforms, it said "MyMovingCo."

Awww...I was hoping for a repeat of Vince's last promo on Spike TV, where after thanking Spike TV, he said USA like twice and they bleeped it...then they started to drop as many USA references into the rest of the show as possible.
