sorry if this is 1909 i did i search and couldnt find anything i am reading some of the Q & A's on elijahs official forum and he says alot of mess about CM punk - what is the history here is an example of stuff he posts Q - just wanted to know how you felt about one of your old rivals C M Punk since becoming world champ A- Dont ever mention nor type that name on this site again. I remember being in Louisville a couple of weeks ago for a show for OVW. When leaving, I noticed someone spray painted C.M. PUKE on a wall. I thought to myself, "Awesome"! So I took a picture with my phone and planned to post it but then realized that I was in Kentucky and the person who did that probably actually thought he spelled it right! www.theelijahexpress.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3&topicdays=0&start=100

LOL @ Thats just cool! Could he be in character perhaps? I'd say he is, since it's reflective of his posts on WWE.com when they had him doing that blog.

Yeah, he could be in character. Burke and Punk had a short feud with other, and it was the last thing Burke did of note.

nah, it's just Elijah's way of selling their on and off arch-rivalry.

nah, it's just Elijah's way of selling their on and off arch-rivalry. Which has been off for FAR too long. Those two had some great matches against each other.

I was far more impressed with what Burke showed in ECW than anything Punk has ever done. I can't help but wonder how things would be now if Burke were a ROH-graduate and Punk were not. It seems the majority of Punk's success doesn't have to do with his ability (or lack thereof) but from a cult following he gained from the IWC, many of whom were just following the bandwagon.

Those two were the two main reasons I even watched WWECW.
Granted, I still watch it..but I certainly miss their matches.

If you look back at Punk's old Livejournal, I remember he had an entry when he just started in OVW. Elijah told him he swore a lot.

Haha, if Elijah DOES have a Legit beef with Punk, how long before the "I hope Elijah gets wished well in his future endeavors!" posts start?

Haha, if Elijah DOES have a Legit beef with Punk, how long before the "I hope Elijah gets wished well in his future endeavors!" posts start? Oh look, another narrow-minded generalization of a fanbase, how so totally original and not-at-all played out. I'm sure the previous 13 posts were totally about people calling for Burke to be fired. Oh wait, none of them were.

Well, they have zero chemistry in the ring... To be fair, that was a one-off. They had a couple of awesome PPV matches last year.

What has happened to Burke? He was talented, charismatic, and . . . he's seemingly sitting at home and doing nothing right now.
