I don't remember seeing anything as to why Trevor Murdoch was released/left the WWE.

I don't remember seeing anything as to why Trevor Murdoch was released/left the WWE. I do believe I read a "Creative had nothing for him" excuse. Which was odd since Creative had the whole singing thing for him.

I think it's because he turned down teaming with Jimmy Wang Yang, and unless you're a main eventer, you just don't turn down whatever Creative has planned for you.

All I heard was that "creative" said they didn't have anything for him, at least on Raw's side. Hayes said he wanted him for Smackdown since he could find something for him and so he was drafted there in the post-draft and everyone was sorta surprised he was released.
I really think teaming him with Wang Yang would've been good, althouh maybe they didn't want too many redneck face teams with Jesse & Festus.

I think he went back to WLW. He'll make it back to the big time some day. I predict that he'll be a world champion somewhere before his career is over. No, the WLW title doesn't count. Hell, the TNA title doesn't count!
