I still think he looks creepy as smurf, but he's already shown me more than Ricky Ortiz by a long shot. I'll wait and see.

Hope one of the things that Arn has taught swagger is "Never fall asleep backstage"

I think hes also the best prospect out of the new guys. I don't get what they are thinking with Ortiz. Hes like the lead story on wwe.com and says 'ricky ortiz may be young..' when hes going on like 34.

I like Swagger. I just wish he would be Jake Hager instead, but that's just me. The guy's got some talent, and if he's a good listener, he will be something.

I think they said the same about Batista when he started After all, his lot in Evolution was representing the future along with Orton

Hes like the lead story on wwe.com and says 'ricky ortiz may be young..' when hes going on like 34. I'm gonna go on a mini-rant that has nothing to do with the current topic, but your comment made me think about it. Chronological age has shit to do with potential and how good someone can be. 34, 24, 14, they're all rookies to me because I haven't seen them on screen. It's on-screen age that matters. DDP became popular when he was almost 40, Batista too. We're in an age of television where guys don't have to be on screen for 10 years to become popular. A guy like Lesnar from debut to retirement was only on screen for like 3 years, he could have been 45 and done that. OK, rant done, I just had to get that off my chest. And for the record, Jack Swagger, pretty cool, I think they should go after guys with previous athletic backgrounds more.

Best wrestler of current group: Colt Cabana/Scotty Goldman Best brawler of current group: Jay Bradley/Ryan Braddock Best sports entertainer of current group: Shawn Spears/Gavin Spears
...yeah, Hager is nowhere close to those.

Evan Bourne begs to differ. All Hager has on him is muscles. ... Crap.

the name change still kinda blows because jake hager was a nice one... but him being mentored by AA can't possibly be a bad thing.
and im marking for his heel turn.

On a slightly related note, I'm delighted to see that my prediction about Swagger's gear slowly gaining more color by the week keeps coming true.

Of course it's easy to see that they approve of him, as he appears regularly and is in a RAW storyline already. They're thinking more along the lines of Spears, Braddock, Braden, Swagger etc.

His moveset is very entertaining but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him in a competetive match.
