It is a fantastic game that does a great job on building on the original which I also enjoyed. Saints Row has found its own niche and there is easily enough room in the gaming world for both Saints Row and GTA. I am currently working my way through the Ronin missions which are a lot of fun; online play is taking up a lot of my time though. One of the great things about online on this game is seeing all of the other characters people have made.
Edit: Nothing like doing a driveby shooting with some classical music playing, or better yet..Karma Chameleon!

The cruise control feature is nice. Makes shooting from the car much easier.

Brilliant game. I really enjoyed GTAIV but I think SR2 has everything you want from an Open-world game. It's genuinley funny as well.

Played the original. I didn't like the graphics and at the least, I'd probably only rent the sequel.

Even though I prefer GTA's gameplay, this is worth it for how freakin' funny it is.

While the graphics themselves aren't as good as GTA IV (stuff like damage, etc) they don't mean nearly as much as gameplay does. As far as the colors part of the graphics go, I personally like the vibrant, colorful world of SR2 more than the Brown, brown, and more brown world of GTA IV.

it's awesome. I have more fun playing with my friends (Deadpool and his brother) than by myself. Putting storyline Co-Op was a stroke of genius. Sooo much more fun with a friend along. Beat the Ronin and have done a couple of Brotherhood missions. And to the question of online only co-op, I think there is system link. I saw it on the start menu either in co-op or multiplayer section. So if you bring your Xbox over to your friends, maybe you can system link it. While the graphics themselves aren't as good as GTA IV (stuff like damage, etc) they don't mean nearly as much as gameplay does. As far as the colors part of the graphics go, I personally like the vibrant, colorful world of SR2 more than the Brown, brown, and more brown world of GTA IV. yeah i see what you're saying, but *as I'm sure you know* I think they were setting a mood in GTA4, of depression, hopelessness, and doing what it takes to survive to go along with the lead character kinda feeling that way.

just completed all the missions. very satisfying end to a fun short story. much better than the "Niko we won yay!" ending of GTA IV.

I also have SR2. I love the customization in the game. It one thing that has GTA beat. SR is more fun to me with just random violents because its just so fake looking. I already beat all of the brotherhood missions now I have to take more turf to finished the other gangs.

Still playing Madden 09 and I plan to get LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 next.

How did you get the extra mission? SPOILER!!! It's for Juilius. Go to the police station, third floor, there should be a room you can go into. There will be three short things you can listen to then go into another room inside that one, and you'll get Dex's number. Call em, and you'll be on your way.

Harrowgate. Something like that, I think. Can't remember. It's along that big road, in New Saint's Row. You CAN'T miss it, trust me.

I'll find it. Thanks for the heads up. I just beat the game tonight. Though I'm trying to finish up all the side stuff now. I did about half of them before I beat it. I think the only one I'll have a problem with is the Tow Truck stuff since you have to do all 10 of those in one go and the truck drives like crap when hooked up.
