Yep, and I've been enjoying the hell out of it.
While I love GTA 4, there is a certain fun factor it lacked in it's quest for realism. Saint's Row 2 picked up that fun factor and ran with it for me.
I hope in part 3 they have more gang customazation options, such as colors and themes.

I'm really enjoying it at the moment. There seems to be endless stuff to do, and some of the other stuff you can get involved with is just hilarious.

Oh I also love it because my gang's signature taunt is the Hulk Hogan ear-thing.

I just ordered the NTSC version of Saints Row 2 for the 360 from Play-Asia since it had no region protection and only cost 40 euros... should ship in a week or so. I absolutely loved the first Saints Row, so I hope SR2 is good as well.

bought it at midnight the day it came out. it's f***ing amazing. I've been playing for several days straight and i've not even made it through the Sons of Samedi missions yet. I keep getting sidetracked.

I got it Thursday and have been running around, getting re-acquainted with Stilwater.
My only gripe though right now...why is the only white guy voice when you create your character Australian?? That kinda blows. So my guy sounds like a...pardon the terminology...wigger.

It's pretty OK so far. The Crowd Control missions are fun.
I'm enjoying it way more than the first Saints Row, but I still think GTA IV is better.

I would also like to say that the soundtrack in this game is SO much better then GTA IV's to me.
GTA IV's I found completely lacking. The classic rock station was pretty good. But there was no modern popular rock at all (early 90's-current type with a focus on the current stuff like these "99X", "New Rock" type stations), only modern rock was the independant one. The rap station was seriously lacking in my opinion. It had some decent artitsts but some crappy song selections. There was no classical station. There was two Raggae stations, which was a bit redundant. Bob Marley could have just been on one station with the rest of the Raggae. The jazz and fusion channels were pretty good.
Now, I'm not saying SR2's is perfect. It could do with having a classic rock station, a jazz station, a talk station and probably another hip hop station by throwing in some more songs and seperating the R&B and pop rap from the more hardcore rap. But the songs that it does have in the game are a good mix of classic and current tunes to me.

The soundtrack is decent from what I've heard so far, but having Crystal Castles on the electronica station definitely won it points with me.

I've never played it. I just found the sparkly, bejeweled, special edition game case to be very amusing. Sooooo gangsta. And I've seen a display at Best Buy that had a few of the characters on it. For being so street, they sure are fashionista's. What with all of the bright colors and fancy haircuts. There was ONE guy that looked slightly intimidating, big bald guy with a beard. But he was rockin' a pair of purple jeans.

I own the original and liked it but have been waiting to get this...Someone answer this question for me please...I understand it has Co-Op but is it only online Co-Op or can two people playing on my machine play together? If so is it split screen or like San Andreas where if you get to far apart the screen doesnt allow you to move any farther?

I believe the co-op is online only.

The more and more I play this game, the more I miss GTA vehicle controls.
