Here's the test of who the realest mf'rs on the forum are. Anybody other than me pick up the dvd of Troma's latest movie, Poultrygeist: Night Of The Chicken Dead today? It's release is limited to 15,000 copies. I got copy #2457. I command you to go out and buy it this minute, and support true independent cinema. For your amusement, here's a f'n killer music video from the great film, as well as the trailer.
Long live Troma!!!!!!!!!!!
Peace, Blade Braxton (Tromaville's heavyweight champion of the world, as bestowed upon by Lloyd Kaufman.)

Here's hoping you get a copy soon, bro. BTW, it's every bit as gross-out and offensive as Terror Firmer was. Quick story. I saw it about a year ago at some Midwest Film Festival, where they were showing all kinds of indy movies, probably all PG, as a part of an all day screening thing. A whole horde of old ladies who attended the festival and probably enjoyed the majority of the PG rated flicks wandered into the Lloyd Kaufman hosted showing of Poultrygeist. ;D The only thing funnier than the movie was seeing some disgusted old ladies get up and leave the theater during the show, obviously not knowing what they were getting into. ;D

Personal experience is slightly different. Went to a matinee of From Dusk Til Dawn, was the only person in the theater until right before it started, when two very ancient ladies strolled in and sat down. And were still there at the end.

Yeah, ha ha, the two old ladys in front of us made it until the shot of Troma's fatass cult hero Joe Fleishaker relieving himself of all the greasy, demonic chicken he just ate, wonderfully shot with a camera mounted in the bottom of the toilet. Good times.

I can't believe it just came out. They were showing screenings of it at Dragon-Con 2007. I never saw it, but I figured it would have been released long ago. I wonder why it took them over a year to release it?

Lloyd's the man. Even offered to act for free in any film I do. I'm making the effort to pick a copy up.

Bought it last night (along with a buy 1 get 1 free of The Thing and An American Werewolf in London). Not sure when will be watching it, maybe tomorrow night, but it's about time it's available for purchase in as super sexy 3-disc set of goodies.

I'll have to order it. Gotta support Lloyd. I don't think I've gotten anything from the Troma store since since the re-release of the original Toxic Avenger came out. Are their shipping prices still high or have they gotten more reasonable? Cool story: I once e-mailed Lloyd Kaufman many years ago praising his work especially the Toxie flicks and Kabukiman. He replied the same night thanking me for being a fan and said unfortunately they'd never do another stand-alone Kabukiman movie but that he'd be in Citizen Toxie. Six months later when I ordered the Tox Box online, mine was one of first 500 so it was autographed by Mr. Kaufman. What I didn't expect was the doodle of Kabukiman done by Lloyd himself on my box!

I may have to pick this up when I get some cash. Then again, there's plenty of other Troma movies I need to pick up DVDs of (like the Class of Nuke 'Em High boxset).
