Firefox is absolutely useless. If I have more than one tab open for more than five minutes Firefox freezes up, then it says it's not responding. It sucks!
Anyone else have this problem?

I am sadden to announce you that it has nothing to do with FireFox, but most probably with your computer.
And FireFox owns all other web navigators.

Firefox has been near flawless for me, and I've had upward of 10 tabs open at once before. Sorry Bob.

Every great once in a while it goes bonkers on me, but it is pretty rare, and likely my fault more often than not.

FireFox is awesome man!
I mean it is not as great as I once thought, because now I'm too damned use to Safari, but it is still good.

Nope sorry. I always have at least two tabs open and it has never been a problem whatsover. It's frozen maybe twice since I downloaded it months ago but that's it. Upgrade to v3 if you don't have it already.

It is your computer. Only problem I ever had with Firefox was it was typing the characters out of order and then backwards. Soemone else was on here not that long ago and had the same problem. Only happen once though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, to my boy Cornfed's chagrin, IE gives me everything I need from a browser. I have no need to switch.

I prefer Opera, that is all. Same. Since version 5. The reason Opera is better than other browsers is because it's version 9 already. Internet Explorer is barely version 8 and Firefox is 3. And don't get me started on that Chrome thing. It isn't even version 1 yet! As for the OP's problem. I'd try cleaning up the cache and reinstalling firefox and running without plug-ins to to eliminate the problem *expects blank stare*

Firefox works pretty good for me, sometimes a little slow. Also, if I use the ConverterHelper app, it crashes every time it finishes a video.

I've never understood why there are a lot of people who bash on and on about how much better than IE Firefox is. I've tried both on Vista and XP and IE was faster both times for me. And I've never had any unwanted viruses from IE.
