pretty ok!
I don't understand why it's getting 4 stars, nor do I hate it. it's still a pretty good movie though. I still say you should see it but don't expect anything mind breaking.
however while it does have a very standard plot, it does tell it in a very original way and in a setting that's different. so for that alone it's worth seeing.
oh and the movie did prove my theory that the who wants to be a millionaire music is the most suspenseful ever composed.
also no film critics were hurt when I saw this movie incase you were wondering

Film Metro is doing a lot of screenings of it coming up in my area so I might go check it out

roger ebert described the film the best when he said:
"The real India, supercharged with a plot as reliable and eternal as the hills. The film's surface is so dazzling that you hardly realize how traditional it is underneath. But it's the buried structure that pulls us through the story like a big engine on a short train."
so yeah you have seen this plot before, MANY MANY TIMES! but the setting is so original I say that this film is worth a look.
