This is our (girlfriend and I) first year cooking things. Should be interesting. We're making a small-ish turkey, mashed potatoes, peas, stuffing, cranberry sauce, couple pies, and some homemade rolls (hopefully).
I survived the TNA tapings, July 2015.

This friend of mine once insisted I visit her for Thanksgiving dinner. It was the first one she was ever gonna make.
Now, I'm no turkey cook, however I've seen my mother, aunt and grandmother cook them enough to know that's when it's frozen f***in' solid at 4pm, dinner won't be at 5:30.
Cooking for about 7-10 people, depending on if my male friends bring broads.
Turkey Ham Cranberry sauce Stuffing Corn on the cob Sweet Potatoes Corn Peas Green beans Broccoli Gravy Biscuits Mashed potatoes Pies Tofurkey for my veggie peeps
I'm driving down to my Aunts tomorrow. If they say I should get something I'll just stop at the local Publix(best cakes/pies/cookies/ect) and get something from there. I'm only 19, Not much of a cook at all.

I gots my family making it, pretty traditional and typical turkey day for us. Football game, afternoon nap after eating too much food, leftover the next day, making soup over the weekend.

I like cooking, (it's why I searched for a full kitchen with my apartment), but I find the big meals really hard to balance. I can handle 2-3 things fine, but any more and one of them will slip my mind while I'm prepping or cooking something else and wind up burnt. So, I admire all the cooks that make those big Thanksgiving dinners.
Luckily, my family gave me just one dish to make and put me on relative pickup duty. Easy!
Cooked up a meal for myself and a couple of friends last Saturday and I'll help my pop tomorrow.
For my friends, I made:
1. Brined and Roasted Turkey with citrus and herbs 2. Stuffing with vegetables, nuts, and fruits, with Andouille Sausage and Mushrooms on the side 3. Potato Gratin 4. Steamed Green Beans with Caramelized Almonds, Oven Cooked Bacon 5. Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Almonds 6. Grilled Portobello Mushrooms on Greens 7. Store Bought Gravy spiked with Rosemary and Thyme 8. Cranberry Sauce flavored with Oranges 9. Oven rolls
It went really well and, looking back on it, I'm surprised I was able to cook everything pretty much by myself. Brining is the way to go with Turkey.

I'm making:
Deep Fried Turkey (15 lbs) Hickory Smoked Chicken (Two 4 lb birds) Oyster Stuffing Basic Mashed Potatoes (Baby Reds, Unskinned) Giblet Gravy from the Turkey Giblets, Neck and extra fat pulled from the inside.
And everybody who is coming is bringing the useless salads that nobody ever eats.
My brother is making a Pumpkin Creame Cheese Roll... that's the main dessert.

I'm making real down home hot spicy delicious Jambalaya. I always make mine with kielbasa, jumbo shrimp, and duck. It is without a doubt the best thing you will ever put in your mouth.

mmm ... jambalaya ...
I don't know what I'm going to make this year, but I've had a bunch of turkey lately already so I don't think I'll go that route. Have to check and see if the local store has any prime rib roasts left, I guess.

Am I supposed to put something here? What do I put here? Hurm ...
Just the three of us this year, so I'm doing the Bird, stuffing (crammed in all the appropriate cavities), Green Bean casserole and I pre-made pumpkin and apple pasties because I'm a Harry Potter geekette.
Oh, and I bought gravy because I'm utter crap at doing it myself.
I'm not cooking, but my mom is making some green beans, Dominican empanadas (which is empanadas stuffed with shredded chicken and raisins), potato salad, candy yams, regular salad, biscuits, and of course a turkey.
There will be about 12-13 of us. Should be fun. Lots of beer.

I'm not cooking, but here is just a small...taste...of what my family is having tomorrow:
- A 21 pound turkey(it is HUGE!) - Potato Stuffing - Stuffing - Homemade bread - Homemade Pumpkin Bread - Green Bean Casserole - Asparagus - Chocolate Pie - Pumpkin Pie
And some honey-pecan butter made by mixing honey, pecans, and butter/margarine together.
For "breakfast" we are having a large bag of chips and a lot of French Onion chip dip to eat while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a family tradition since I can remember.

Wow this all sounds awesome. I don't cook and wasn't invited anywhere for dinner so I'll just have my usual meal of either a hot pocket or frozen personal pizza.
