I'd give you the Foley thumbs up .gif and a sarcastic response, but since it's your avatar, I got nothing.
(Insert sarcastic response here.)

Welcome aboard. They're great, aren't they? I'm watching Wanted on Blu Ray as we speak. And Rambo and Batman Begins were sights to behold.

I'm watching Prince Caspian on it now, and it's spectacular.

<expensive hi five for MGH> I'm watching Prince Caspian on it now, and it's spectacular. I almost picked that one up, but I was morbidly curious about this film. And so far, it's better than I thought it would be. Since they went away from the subject material and all. But I'm pleasantly surprised.

I've had my Blu-Ray since January, and own about 40 movies so far. I love it, but the load times, and having to update firmware take some time to get used to.

I got a new laptop this past month that had a BLU RAY BURNER in it for less than $1300. High five to everyone!

Hmm ... with the PS3 I have, most of the load times seem minimal, at the most five to ten seconds or so. And I check for updates and then do something else while they load ... But for the rest of you who have Blu Ray, do you have a television with an HDMI connection? And do you play your audio through a home theatre or stereo? I have mine set up through a really old surround sound stereo system I got, but it still sounds excellent. Hell, the stereo may be older than some of the people who post on here ...

I assume you have an HDTV to Bob. I'd like to think everyone KNOWS you need that to truly enjoy Blu-Ray, but sadly that's just not the truth.

Cost of Bob's Blu-Ray player was a fraction of the cost of the Blu-Ray porn he's planning to purchase for his Christmas gift to himself.
For an extra "stocking stuffer" gift, he needs a sock and a bottle of lotion. ;D

I want to get a PlayStation 3 and some Blu-Ray DVDs but can't quite justify the purchase yet. I have a 32-inch HD and have really only been able to fully utilize it via Xbox 360 games.

I'm using it with a 32" HDTV. Hopefully, down the line I'll be upgrading to a larger one.
And no HD fetish porn, YET.

I'd absolutely LOVE to get the projector, but I don't have room for it in our 5 room palace.
