1,666 posts: DAMN!
I can think of some reasons not to become a prowrestler: JBL, have to fly on a plane a lot, jet lag, away from family & friends, injuries, JBL, sexual harassment, flogging & hazing, getting fired, hard to gain heat, creative is a bunch of hollywood idiots, JBL, etc.

This film isn't what it claims to be. I've seen it, and if it was 101 reasons it'd be interesting. Instead we get a pre-weight gain Chyna whining about her and X-Pac - DDP being insightful, and a bunch of other people being intermittently worth listening to. In fact, New Jack is extremely funny. 'I got an e-mail from this bitch and she says "New Jack, this is your baby." And I said bitch... cocaine's a powerful drug.'
I'd not recommend it, really. And I wish it had been in the form of 101 reasons not to be a rassler. I'm a sucker for lists.

My main reason would be having to dispense with bodyhair. At least, the successful ones have to. I'd be terrfied of getting in the bath incase I couldn't get out, just be sliding back and forth. Nightmare

How's this for a reason? You could preface a statement with, "the FIRST time I broke my neck..."

Tylene Buck has a major ego on her. She had higher ratings than Goldberg? Why do I not believe that?

You'll realize rather quickly that 1,666 posts isn't as impressive as some of the other members around here. I'm not talking about myself, as their numbers make mine look like nothing.

Yeah Major Gunns is of her rocker if she thinks her ratings were that high. Good video though.

I thought the doc was quite okay, though the camera lighting (especially in the DDP parts) was horribly worked.

The lighting was bad for some interviews, and some of them took place in noisy locker rooms or streets instead of in quiet, controlled indoor settings. So as far as production values go, I was disappointed with the film.
But it does allow us to listen to some interesting dialog, especially when Shannon Moore & Vampiro are interviewed about what they think about a pro wrestling union. Konnan is, as always, a straight up guy with plenty of fascinating stuff to say about the business, and New Jack is hilarious as usual.
On the whole, I have mixed feelings about this product. As far as independent documentaries go, I'd rank "Beyond the Mat," "Forever Hardcore" (the unofficial story of ECW) as well as "Unscarred: The Life of 'Sick' Nick Mondo' above this one.
