I just finished watching a video of Ricky Jr. and he's amazing. Ricky Jr. was trained by George South, and he's currently working with Harley Race. He could become the best 2nd generation wrestler since Bret, and Owen Hart. He has the look and skills to really take off in wrestling. If Vince or Dixie want the ultimate babyface then look go to Race's camp and sign him. I hope he don't go to FCW I would prefer to see him develop in ROH, and Japan. He has a natural ability you have to see to believe near flawless.

You know, just because someone's a son of a famous wrestler doesn't always mean they're a mirror of their father.
ie: David Flair, David Sammartino, Greg Gagne

Jesse was right! If Ricky Sr. got in trouble, he could tag out to the Little Dragon

I still think Gagne wasn't that bad. Not up to his dad's standards no, but a solid tag team guy.

Whatever happened to Ricky Steamboat? Why wasn't he active longer than he was? Injury?

Whatever happened to Ricky Steamboat? Why wasn't he active longer than he was? Injury? IIRC, he blew out his back years ago and it put him out.

He doesn't look like his dad. Ricky Steamboat Jr. looks more like Chris Harris to me.
Its odd how some wresters who suffer a back injury manage to go back to wrestling i.e. Curt Hennig and Shawn Michaels while other retire for good like DiBiase, Rude and Steamboat. I heard the Dragon had a messy divorce which also had a bit to do w/ his career being cut short.

Steamboat Jr. wrestled his trainer, George South, at the NWA Legends Fanfest in August. Nice match, the kid even broke out a few of his dad's old spots, including the old "skin the cat" back into the ring.
I think the guy has a lot of potential.
