Theres a lot of books, comics, cartoons, TV Shows etc that i see/read that would make great movies. Or even ones that have made that would of been MUCH better.heres a few examples:
Ted Hughes' The Iron Man. yes The iron Giant was a huge success but a Cloverfield-in-the-British-Countryside style live action movie would be better.
Video Girl Ai- If anyone has seen this Anime OVA yu will agree this would bmake a great movie for teenagers and young adults. Given there is a Japanese Live action film. it would appeal toEnglish speaking audience if Hollywood give it a go.
Batman and Robin (Comedy): I keep imagining Wil Farrell and Justin Long donning the Adam West style costumes and doing a Comedy batman film.
any ideas

A mythological (as opposed to pseudo-historical) treatment on King Arthur and the Trojan War. See, this is why 300 and Lord of the Rings rule, whereas Troy, Alexander and whatever the last feminist revisionist version of what Morgan and Guinevere were doing that passed for an Camelot Film. Myths and Legends are not merely old stories, they are important cultural artifacts, tales that have roused the human spirit to action for centuries. Respect the source material as you would an honored elder.

Mario Puzo's "Fools Die" and "Hell and Back" from the Sin City series are the ones I can think of right now.

The Man Who Was Thuersday but for i know its really hard to make an adaptation to movie due all the confusion mainly in the end, anyway is one of my favorite books and it would be great for me.

WE3. Animated EPIC in the right hands. I've heard several times that it is in development, but not as an animated film. I'd like to see Warren Ellis' "Red" as a movie, with Patrick Stewart as Moses. I also want to see Devin Townsend's album "Ziltoid the Onmiscience" done as a full movie musical (with animation and puppets, of course).

Robert R. McCammom's "The Wolf's Hour" - it's a novel about a WW2 spy who just happens to be able to transform into a werewolf as well. Very fun, bloody book that would make a great action/horror flick.
Runaways - Marvel's sleeper hit from a few years ago. Take the first 18 issues, dispense with some of the subplots (Cloak and Dagger, Topher the Vampire) and it's ready-made for film.
A serious and big-budget Lovecraft film that actually understands his stuff.
