If not, than let's talk about it!
Who do you think will win? Who do you think will get most eliminations or be the marathon man? What are some spots you'd like to see? Who do and don't you want to be in it?
I will say this much: I'm predicting Evan Bourne will have the best elimination, a la Paul London in 2005.

Yes. It is too early to hear Christmas Music. It's definately too early for the Rumble.

I expect CM Punk to get the World Title shot on the undercard. Title matches at the Rumble often go to guys who are only semi-main eventers or whatnot, since the individual matches aren't the focal point of the show.

The Royal Rumble is harder to predict now that they have two (technically three, but come on!) world titles and they give themselves liberties to not have the Rumble winner in the title match or they can add another wrester to the title match (not to mention that it is not guarenteed that the Rumble winner gets to be in the last match at Mania).
I hope it is someone who has never won before, namely Edge, Jericho, or Orton. Any of the three are established enough to headline a Mania, even though we know that the Rumble winner (if he doesn't lose his title match before Mania) may wrestle in the middle of the Mania event so it is no longer absolutely essential that the Rumble winner be the "top guy."

A face usually wins, therefore Punk or Jeff Hardy

Early in the show, it is noted that #30 has been stolen.
Cena enters as a surprise entrant at 29 and eliminates the other 3 men in the ring. Lastly eliminating Kozlov. Kozlov gets pissed, beats the holy hell out of Cena, and heads to the back.

Punk or one of The Hardy's. I'm predicting Jeff Hardy to get the start of his mega push that he had last year.

Well since it's the Royal Rumble, that means a mid-carder will compete in a world title match for no reason whatsoever.
For 2009, my pick is Chris Jericho vs. Paul London for the WWE Championship

I'd be surprised if Jeff Hardy didn't win this. As long as he keeps himself out of trouble *touch wood* he will be a World Champion by the end of 2009.

Edge and Jeff Hardy will be the last two in the Rumble.

I'd be surprised if Jeff Hardy didn't win this. As long as he keeps himself out of trouble *touch wood* he will be a World Champion by the end of 2009. TOUCHING WOOD IS NOT ENOUGH! WE HAVE TO KNOCK ON IT! FOR JEFF'S SAKE, WE HAVE TO KNOCK!Anywho, I say Edge wins if he's healthy. And to answer the original question posed by the topic, it's never too early to talk about the Rumble. It's the one thing, no matter how bad the product is, who's injured, or who's champion, that I can always depend on to deliver. Bell-to-bell excitement, especially if you're at a sports bar where everyone is just LOSING IT. I love the Rumble. Narrowly beats Wargames as my favorite gimmick match of all-time.

It still bemuses me why Cena won last year as the spot usually goes to semi main eventers so I am going to predict Jeff.
