I really think that a Spirit Squad return as a 3 man crew with Nicky (damn you DOLPH), Kenny, and Johny would work so much better now.

I'm sure he was released but they never made it official like they do with every other superstar. Or at least that's what wikipedia says... During a live Raw event in August of 2007 in Fayetteville, NC, Jeter returned under the name of "Johnny Jeter". During the October 17, 2007 house show in Manchester, England, Jeter debuted for the ECW brand under the ring name "Jayden Jeter". After a brief stint at ECW live events, Jeter went on a lengthy leave of absence, not appearing at WWE nor developmental shows. He is believed to have been released before Wrestlemania XXIV, although WWE has never made it official.

Where has Jeter been recently, in like, wrestling in general. Any promotion would want to have a talented guy like that. Hell, he hasn't been in OVW recently either, and that's where he first started training.

This is to this day the worse thing WWE's done all year. This kid had all the tools, and for some reason, no one in WWE recognized that. I'm still angry that Jeter basically disappeared off the face of the earth in the company.

One of the 5 guys I'd kill for actually knew Johnny Jeter personally. They'd be in contact from time to time, and from what I heard he seemed to have a real passion for the business.
It's a damn shame that Johnny (as well as Nick Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra) hadn't gotten more of a chance. They have way too much talent at such a young age to get turned away like that.

Of all the Spirit Squad guys, Johnny Jeter was one of the two with the most potential, the other being Mikey Mondo. It's a shame they never really got an even chance to stand on their own.

Sucks he fell under the radar, but it's not like he's old or anything. A lot of people make a comeback after a setback.
Hell, look at Umaga. Was JAmal, and just kind of disappeared. Came back, and had more success than ever.
