Well apart from the fact the card was flooded with disqualifications, it was ok.
Loved the Austin/Rock match.

Apart from Austin/Rock and Owen's run-in, it was meh to me.

Never watched it unfortunately but I like the fact that the IC title meant something back then and Austin and The Rock fought for that title and then a couple of years later they're feuding for the WWF Title at Wrestlemania....
You'd hardly ever see something like that nowadays!

I really wasn't too impressed with the PPV, in fact, aside from the IC title, the only notable thing about the show was HBK saying that was the beginning of his back injury, as Shamrock tossing him around really messed up his back, the casket match at Royal Rumble was the thing that blew it up so to speak.

Isn't it on 24/7 now?
Ken Shamrock's brush with event status, for the entire world to see in its oh-so-temporary glory.

They really started to heat up at this point. In all honesty I dont know why Jeff Jarrett never got super over. He's really good on the mic and was good in the ring. I didnt like him either, and I have no idea why.

whty is it called D-Generation x? No reason. Just to promote D-X. HBK had a one off match with Kenny, and Hunter wrestled Comissioner Slaughter, the Face Authority Figure tasked with controlling them. Other than that, had nothing to do with them. In your House PPVs always had some kind of title, and D-X was the belle of the ball at the time. It is interesting to wonder what the WWF would have been like if HBK wasn't sidelined at Wrestlemania.

If this is the event I'm picturing, it had the absolute worst rendition of the national anthem I've ever heard.

Man, back then I was really hoping Shamrock was going to beat Michaels for the title.

It kinda sucked, except for the light heavyweight match, and TAFKA Goldust's rendition of Dr Seuss.

Good PPV IMO, not wrestling wise but entertainment wise. Austin slamming the Nation about his truck was awesome.
