I don't recall them ever explaining the look on Bubba's face after he'd put people through tables.
Anyone else?

I never liked that stuff. Women getting put through tables and piledrived and stuff. I know it was a huge part of ECW and WWE copied it. I'm glad its gone from wrestling now. I dont like women doing moves on men either like hurricanranas and splashes off the top rop and I'm glad thats gone too. Russo did that crap in WCW too. I think I remember Kidman doing a shooting star press off the top rope onto some woman or maybe it was the other way around I forget.

To play devil's advocate. The Bubba Bomb through the table involved Bubba breaking the table with his legs and backside. Which was probably way safer than say when Francine got superbombed or Lori Fullington getting piledriven through a table

I think if Bubba had held Lita in that position much longer he'd have gotten a cold sore.

I always loved that. Some of my favorite parts of the late attitude era.

The amount of sexual innuendo in that video (especially the Trish part) is staggering.
The Attitude Era was a dirty, dirty time.

Awesome. The Lita was brutal and the ones on Mae young are just cringeworthy. How did she not die?

Awesome. The Lita was brutal and the ones on Mae young are just cringeworthy. How did she not die? Easy, Mae didn't die because, it would seem, she's that f***ing tough. Hell, didn't Bubba tell a story in the shoot about her yelling at them for "taking it easy" on her? Sorry, but if an 80+ year old woman can take a top rope bump then say "stop working soft", that's pretty much a good definition of the word "hardcore".

Instant heel heat. Simple as that. Instant heel heat that somehow got the Dudleys over as huge babyfaces. Man i loved the Attitude era.

I don't recall them ever explaining the look on Bubba's face after he'd put people through tables. Anyone else? Didn't Cole say it was "almost euphoric" a lot? I assume that's how Bubba's mom used to put him to bed. Must have cost them a fortune in folding tables.

Considering her inexperience at the time and the minimal amount of clothing she was wearing, Trish took a really nasty bump, worse than Terri's because she landed back-first on the table.

i think i Trish was actually the heel with Test and Albert for that one. Dudleys were the heels for the others though. i also recall hearing Trish say something in some interview afterwards about how people were dying (after many televised near misses) to have the Dudleys put her through a table but she refused to unless it was on a PPV.
