ever notied this? there are some wrestlers who..when the fans each out their hands miht take em..but there are other who NEVER will..yet the fans still try... this is something the missus notices
guys like Jeff Hardy and Rey usually try to make an effort
but lets face it Undertaker will NEVER do it..you'd think the fans would know by now
remember the Eddi-Rey laddermatch at Summerslam 05? eddie walks round the ringand some doucebag puts his hand out..eddie heeling it up doesn't take it and the guy looks visably smurfed off..its like come on what did you expect?

FINALLY I can tell this story. My cousin, who was a big wrestling fan that went to a wrestling show in the late 80's to see her favorite wrestler: Jim Powers. She REALLY loved this guy. So his music hits, she's right at the rail, he comes charging down in his high energy style and WHAM, he clotheslined her with his massive forearm. And kept going to the ring. She was such a big fan, she loved it. The people around her helped her back up and they laughed about it. Her brush with a pro wrestler.

I'd be very interested to know what Rey tells the kids whose heads he never fails to rub against

He doesn't just do it to kids, it's grown men in masks aswell lol He probably doesnt have time to check if they're kids or grown men. Something inspirational, u think? Something like, "drink more milk and don't end up like me?"

wrestlers don't seem to really shake hands with fans as much as the used to back in the 90's.

I'd be very interested to know what Rey tells the kids whose heads he never fails to rub against I thought he was drawing the power emitted from the kids mask to super charge his own.

He whispers "I'm suing you for gimmick infringement" and headbutts them. They cry but you can't tell because off the mask.

I'd be very interested to know what Rey tells the kids whose heads he never fails to rub against "I wish I was as tall as you" "Meet me at the car park after the show" "Did you know that underage smoking can halt your growth spurt prematurely? I sure didnt" "Hornswogle is better than me at basketball" "Don't you hate when adults store the candy at top shelf?" "Buy my merchandise! I need money so my relatives can move to USA from San Diego"

Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam are better about this than anyone I've ever seen. I've witnessd live RVD actually backtracking just to go back and slap the hand of someone he'd missed. People talk alot of crap on the guy, but he's a class act to his fans.

"Buy my merchandise! I need money so my relatives can move to USA from San Diego" I laughed. On one Indy show I was at, I was sitting right by the curtain and when the first wrestler came out, he just stood there and stared at everyone. No one had any clue how to react, so I reached my hand out and then he started heeling the crowd. So, in retrospect, I helped him find his inner heel.

This thread does remind me of the times my mother would take me to the NWA/WCW house shows at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago back in the late 80s. No matter who came out, the fans would reach out their hands. One time, Stan Hansen was walking past, and he looked over at a group of kids standing out with their arms extended and he walked over to them with that tobacco spit hanging out of his mouth and goes "AAAAAHHHHH" and you see a whole bunch of people run back to their seats. And let me just make one thing perfectly clear. Stan Hansen scared the s*** out of me as a kid.

Ken Patera acctuly noticed me in a crowd at a show in MN when I was a kid.
He is the only wrestler that has ever noticed me, I never played run to the front or anything so it was uber special for him to point me out.
