I was talking about how much I hate the spot where a heel girl slaps a face boy and then the face boy performs his finisher on him. It gets the crowd all riled up over some dumb "shocking" shit. I can't stand it.
What's a spot you hate?

Finishers "out of nowhere", which take more than one second to set up.
Monkey flips are retarded too.

I hate spots where a guy who never ever ever ever climbs the ropes for high spots gets caught and tossed off
Examples: Ric Flair, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, etc.

I can't stand dives to the outside of the ring for two reasons:
1. Whoever takes them just stands there for a long period of time, waiting for it to hit 2. They rarely connect. Most of the time they only hit one arm on two heels and level them.

Where someone is on the mat waiting to take their opponent's top rope move, but they're either too far away or too close so they have to scoot one way or another. It looks terrible on TV. If you were conscious enough to scoot, GET OUT OF THE WAY!

Umaga hitting the ringpost EVERY TIME he gets thrown into the turnbuckle near the end of a match. Hate it.

Rey Mysterio's opponents always conveniently making their way into the ropes for the 619. First thing that popped to mind. Or people having a submission lock on, KNOWING that the opponent is reaching for the ropes, and instead of pulling them far from the eventual break up, just staying there and being shocked when the ref calls for the hold to be broken. That's why I LOVED Angle pulling people back in the middle of the ring, it felt realistic

How Undertaker's opponent just simply stares at Undertaker sometimes when he is doing the old school ropewalk.

I hate spots where a guy who never ever ever ever climbs the ropes for high spots gets caught and tossed off Examples: Ric Flair, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, etc. Y'know, I've seen matches where Flair is flung into the corner, flips over onto the apron, runs to the next corner, climbs up and HITS a double axe handle from the top. Of course, those were really really old matches. Let's see... I hate it when two wrestlers are 'brawling' in the ring, the refs and security pull them apart... and the one ges away and the fight starts again. It's just that this has been done over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, and it usually eats up 15-20 minutes of TV time of security trying to get things 'under control'.

Or during ladder matches when one guy who has been down a while just miraculously heals in time to get to the ladder in time to do a spot, or when someone climbs the ladder really slowly but speeds up or vise versa.

I remember that Flair spot. WCW even had their variant on the spot where Flair would flip over, and run the mat heading to the other post...but get clotheslined on the way.

I'm not a big fan of ladder matches for just this reason. I also really, really dislike when two wrestlers slowly climb up opposite sides and duke it out at the top. In general, anything too slow or deliberate that takes way too much set-up time and detracts from the realism of the match.

Two words:
Bronco Buster
Wait... is that supposed to be one or two words? Someone call Joey Styles. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a "spot" or not... but I've always hated that move. First off, seeing one dude thrust his crotch into another dudes face is just wrong. Secondly it was popularized by X-Pac... X-PAC!
And somehow its even worse in a woman's match because not only does it appear to be just some skanky way to appeal to the 13 year old male demographic... but they usually miss by about four feet of actually connecting.
I also never like the Multiple German Suplex spot either. OK... so when Eddie or Chris Benoit did three of them in a row, that was fine... anytime it went over three... I thought it just looked stupid, especially since the guy hitting the suplex looks to be doing just as much damage to himself as he is the other guy.

I HATE the top rope "leg up boot" spot. Just because 99% of the time, the guy is going for a double axe handle.
I mean, you never see a guy hitting a double axe handle from there... BECAUSE HIS OPPONENT'S FN ON THE GROUND.

Less of a single spot and more of a commentary, but....
-Wrestlers only knowing 1-3 ways to set up a hold or move and then telegraphing it in every match they're in (see;, Cena, John). We've seen the exact few ways Cena knows how to set up for the STFU and then *boom* you know exactly when it's coming. Makes these matches BORING. I isolate Cena here but i swear WWE has instructed the whole roster to dumb down their matches to all look the same with things like this.

Rey Mysterio's opponents always conveniently making their way into the ropes for the 619. ALL of Misterio's spots require 100% of his opponents attention and effort.

you read my mind Kyle. When your tryin to show non fans what wrestlings about and then x-pac shoves his twig and berries in some one's face, it doesn't seem to help the cause
