He was there for a little while not too long ago and then just like disappeared. lol. Has he or do you think he will ever be inducted into the hall of fame? I would love to see him at the rumble maybe. Any reason why he left? Share your thoughts about... TATANKA!

I was happy to see that inducted when it was put up, but I wish RD went more into the whole "WHITE REFEREE IS CHEATING ME" angle they had going, which went nowhere.

His MySpace: www.myspace.com/nativetatankaHis Official website: www.nativetatanka.com/index_1.htmLast time he updated it was September. A quote during the update says, "Since my last update I have been very busy with wrestling, family, and the excitement of the growth of our hometown church in St. Pete Beach, Florida, being A Touch of God Ministries." Sounds like he's a busy fellow. I liked Tatanka and I especially enjoyed his random return during the Eugene/Kurt Angle feud over Kurt's medals. I even made a CAW of him for the last SvR game.

Was boring in 80s/90s and in 2006. I hated those booooooring vignettes about him becoming an apache cheif or something.

I actually think Tatanka is a little underrated. I don't suppose he was ever a huge draw or anything, but I think he proved himself useful during his career, capable of being an effective midcard face or heel.
Hell, with a well booked feud and a lotta luck he may have even been able to main event successfully, if only for a shorter run.

I still think it's hilarious that after vignettes about his people being wronged by the white man, his first target was Bobby Lashley. I'm pretty sure we f***ed over his ancestors too, genius.

I liked him during his 1990s run and his comeback from a couple of years ago, even the heel turn though he should have feuded with a white wrestler instead of Lashley.

I really liked Tatanka. He wasn't great in the ring but he was still pretty athletic. I would compare him to have the same ability as someone like Cena although I don't think he had quite as much charisma but he sure was close.
I think one of the reasons he was so underrated was because realistically most people in the United States do have a very negative stance against Native Americans. Anyone who says otherwise is just ignorant plain and simple. I'm not saying everyone doesn't like native americans I'm just saying Native Americans don't get used much in the hero role of movies and stuff because it reminds people of the pillage and migration forced upon Native Americans and people in the U.S. don't like to think about our government doing something like that.
Again I'm not saying everyone is like that I just think overall in media and things like that we have a very negative stance against Native Americans.
Tatanka on the other hand I think did pretty well especially due to the situation of Native Americans. I'm surprised he got as over as he did. I think the main reason he was released form WWE though was due to his massive weight gain in 96. He stopped working out as much or whatever and just blew up. I was very happy to see that he came back and still can't figure out why they didn't keep him around.

"I remember Bobby Heenan calling him "Tatatanka" or "Tatatatanka"
Yeah I remember that at Wrestlemania 9. Something like "Tatatanaka Toy."
To which Randy Savage, who was doing the verbal battle bit with Heenan, responded with "Tatanka the whole world knows it."
