As we know, the WWE Hall of Fame is to honor past achievements of former WWE, WCW, AWA, and various NWA promotions alumni. Without these men, we wouldn't have the superstars you see today. While being in the WWE Hall of Fame is a great honor to some, it also depends on your relationship with the company. For example, Bruno Sammartino, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, and Ultimate Warrior are unlikely to get inducted, and Chris Benoit is a guaranteed never for reason we all know, however, major stars from WWE-assimilated promotions are destined to be some day. So who you do confidentally see getting into the Hall of Fame at any given year? Here are mine.....
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin - The perfect oppurtunity would be this year obviously, since its in his homestate of Texas. Not to mention he makes visits every now and then, indicating he's on good terms.
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - A road agent, so he would'nt be hard to get access to. Anytime would be necessary.
Arn Anderson - Same with Steamboat, also a Four Horsemen.
Ted Dibiase - One of the greatest villians of all time, he is a shoe in. Any year will do.
Jake Roberts - At some point of another.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan - While his WWE tenure wasn't all that great, his entire career is Hall of Fame worthy. Plus, he's very dependable to the company, so he's a safe bet.
Shawn Michaels - A WWE Loyalist.
The Undertaker - See Michaels, Shawn.
Chris Jericho - He'll stay with the company for awhile.
Triple H - This one is self-explanatory.
and finally....
The Rock - I know he is currently in show business and would like to seperate himself from wrestling, but I seriously doubt he's on bad terms with the WWE(Jim Ross speaks to him regularly). It also would'nt make sense for him not to acknowledge his wrestling career considering that got him off the ground in the first place, and those fans, who originally wanted him to die, made him into the star he is. So basically, they should ask him a year in advance, and promise him a huge sum of money, and I'm sure under the right conditions, he'd agree to do it.
I would come up with names such as Mick Foley and Kurt Angle, but they work for the competition, so right now, that is in the air.
Any names you can realisticly join the Hall at some point?

Realistically?
Given the facts that:
-- The HOF has no set criteria -- Whether or not you make it in is based on the whims of Vince McMahon -- Several people who have not had anything close to a HOF career have made it in anyway -- Several people who should have long since been inducted are not yet in the HOF. Some probably never will be.
I'd say you could make a realistic case for anybody to make it into the HOF. Similarly, you could make a realistic case for why someone would not make it in.
We have people like Johnny Rodz in the HOF. We have William Perry and Pete rose in a celebrity wing, solely for marketing purposes. There are several others who would fit in here as well.
Randy Savage will probably never make it in because of whatever personal problems he and Vince have. Jake Roberts? He's just as likely to show up in a suit and tie as he is to stumble on stage drunk and naked. The Bulldogs will probably not get inducted any time soon either due to how Davey Boy died and the fact that Dynamite is a bitter cripple who hates his cousin. This, despite the fact that all of them have had HOF-worthy careers.

Aside from those mentioned I can see the Hardy's in there in the future, unless they jump to TNA in the meantime. Not that I am a Hardy fan, but I do admit that they deserve a spot for the amount of seats they have sold thus far.

Realistically:
Steve Austin The Undertaker Triple H The Rock Kane Chris Jericho Edge Big Show Shawn Michaels Ricky Steamboat Ted DiBiase (the REAL one) Rey Mysterio (provided he doesn't end up burning bridges during this contract dispute) Arn Anderson Road Warriors Demolition Brian Pillman (surprised this hasn't happened already)
And probably more I'm too tired to think of.

Miss Elizabeth (Savage's ex wife or no, this HAS to happen) It will. She was apparently Stephanie McMahon's idol when Steph was growing up.

Stone Cold Undertaker HBK HHH Ricky Steamboat Ted DiBiase Miss Elizabeth Finkel Arn Anderson Terry Funk British Bulldogs (JR answered a question in his blog a few weeks ago asking if Davey Boy Smith will go in to which he replied that he'd go in as part of the British Bulldogs which shows that they are considering it)

How does it work with someone like her (who I believe doesn't have any other relatives) or Andre? When the performer dies and there are no relatives who's asked for permission for these kinds of things (including video game appearances, etc)?

The WWE Hall of Fame is a joke IMO. Don't be ridiculous. Every wrestler hopes and dreams to be apart of the WWE Hall of Fame when their career is over, apart from Bruno Sammartino of course. It is IMO, the biggest WWE night of the year and all you have to do is look at the inductees to know how important it is to them to be apart of it.

It's not like baseball's is any better. It's NOT based on skill, and don't kid yourself otherwise, or Shoeless Joe's SHOES wouldn't be inducted, and not him.
