1. What is the real name of it now? I know the official name of the actual submission hold is called a gogaplata, last week it was referred to as the "Devil's Triangle", this week they are calling it "Hells Gate".
2. When did it become legal for him to do it again?

1. It is now called "Hells Gate" it is mentioned as a Slammy nomination.
2. Good question, I think when Vickie brought him back she allowed him to do it again.

I liked Devil's Triangle better than Hell's Gate.
My suggestion was gogogadgetTaker, but that one was nixed quickly.

My suggestion is "The He's a 6-10 300 pound zombie who killed his own father and enjoys locking grown men in coffins and shoots lightning at will so why does he need to have a submission finisher, seriously, I want to know."

2. When did it become legal for him to do it again? What are the odds this got Three-Month Ruled or utterly forgotten by Creative? They made such a big deal about it being banned, and now it isn't... ...oh my god, it's like when WCW banned the powerbomb and everyone forgot about that!

Paul Bearer wasn't his father, but he did manage to burn down his house with BOTH of his parents still in it.

But seriously, I like submission finishers for guys who have made their name as tacticians who work a body part and are too small to hit a power move. If Taker can goozle Show, then he doesn't need a submission. If anything, it makes him look bad. Reinventing? Ok. But submission hold? I don't dig it.

Wikipedia once had it listed as the "Deadman's Judgment." Take it however you want.

I think you're right when the submission hold is a technical move. I wouldn't want to see him doing a Figure 4 or something like that. But he just chokes a guy by jamming the poor fool's throat against his leg until they spit up blood. It's essentially a power move. I think it's fitting.

2. When did it become legal for him to do it again? He's allowed to use it in matches where ANYTHING GOES like a steel cage match, a triple threat match, a street fight, etc. where there are no disqualifications.

Plus, this is just a holdover of how he was before he went back to being the Deadman, like his gloves and punching.

2. When did it become legal for him to do it again? Vickie must have let him use it again when she reinstated him, just as a thank-you for getting rid of Edge.

What I don't get is why it doesn't count as a pin against Taker. Most of the time his shoulders are on the mat when he does it.
