Ok so the E! channel has been showing this all weekend and they even showed the SNL when Jon Heder hosted so Ive seen the movie a few more times and I had a few questions for the folks out there. I love the movie and think its really funny BUT I realize a lot of you out there really hate it and my questions to you are what do you hate about it and why dont you think its funny It wasn't funny in the traditional sense. I actually liked Kip and Uncle Rico more than Napoleon.

It was funnier the second time I saw it and the third time. But I still found it amusing the first time.

It was ok, I suppose. Though I hated it more for the fact that everyone I knew screamed about it being the funniest movie ever, and quoting it endlessly.

As a movie, it was an okay story. I was expecting more with all I've heard about it. The only part I laughed was at the kids's reaction to the cow getting shot.
I too didn't really find the character that likable. He didn't seem that angry at his uncle for his comments to his girlfriend. He seemed unconcerned when his grandmother got hurt.
To me, it just seemed to lack something

I didn't like it that much the first time I saw it, maybe because I was expecting more to happen, but watching it a second time I found it funnier.

I found it just mind-numbingly awful. It tried waaaaay too hard to coreograph it's jokes, it was over the top, nothing natural about any of the characters. I've watched it 3 times, twice more at the bidding of friends who asked me to give it a chance, and every time it finished I was in a bad mood at how unfunny it was. I didn't laugh once the during any of those times.

I fell asleep watching it the first time, though more due to my tiredness than anything else.
I didn't really see it again until it was on Comedy Central a couple of weeks ago, and I adored it. I think it's damn funny. But I can see how other people wouldn't find it funny at all.

Oh yeah, and the dance scene actually makes Jon Heder a little hot. I mean a straight man who can dance, how you gonna keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen that?

When not in Napoleon garb, Jon Heder is totally hot.

Never watched it.
Actually I had never heard of it before seeing a lot of references and hate-threads on this very board

I thought it was hilarious the first time I saw it, but since then, it's just been down hill. I can barely stand it now. And it seems like the past few weeks whenever I'm flipping through the channels, I always come across it. I was the opposite. The first time I watched it,I didn't hate it,but I didn't think it was all that great either. The second time I watched it I grew to appreciate its humor more. Now it's one of my favorite movies.
