I liked that the day after Christmas, Walmart was already setting up the Valentine's candy.

Well, what would they put in the seasonal and holiday merchandise section? They have all this stuff sitting in a warehouse, which costs money, so they might as well ship it to the stores, on the off chance someone does want to get a head start.

I work at my local Super Target and right before X-Mas we started putting out some of the Valentine's Day M&Ms and other candy. But Easter stuff already? I know from working in retail for 10 years that we get the upcoming holiday stuff months ahead of time but that seems a little to early.

I think people here are forgetting about Tesco's swarms of Ukrainian customers, and for them these eggs are a part of their culture.

It's even too early for Valentine's Day, never mind Easter.

Meh. It just means a lot of cut price chocolate. Who the hell is actually going to buy an Easter egg at this time of year? Practically no-one. Which means parasites like me can grab some discounted ones in bout February

Yeah, I saw a bunch of valentine's day candy and a display or two of related stuff out at the Target in my "hood" on New Year's Eve.

I hate all the seasonal adverts/commercials. First it's 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, then it's 'New Years Day DFS Triple Mega Huge Reduction sale for the millionth time' Then it's f***ing r'n'b love songs adverts 'The Perfect gift for Valentines Day'. Then it's 'It's not just Easter food, it's M & S Easter food'. Thankfully my television can be turned off, shops can't.

My local CVS has started to carry the Cadbury Creme Eggs outside of Easter. They just don't have them in the Easter packaging. They are in a red and blue wrapping, and from dong a little searching it seems to be the colors used in the U.K. Creme eggs are usually sold individually, but are also available in packets of three, four, six, and twelve, and in boxes of eight, fifteen, twenty-four and forty-eight. The foil wrapping of the eggs was traditionally red, yellow and blue in colour in the United Kingdom and Ireland, though purple replaced blue early in the 21st century. In the United States, some green is incorporated into the design, which previously featured the product's mascot—the Creme Egg Chick.
