Any movies you absolutely hated the first time that you hope are not remade?
I really hope Napoleon Dynamite does not get remade...nor for that matter any documentary movie that Micheal Moore had a hand in....or even (ugh) Ready To Rumble...seeing the WWE remake that would just be...horrifying.
Bad enough that another Nutty Professor (part 3) seems to be in the works...bizzarly enough featuring no-one from any of the previous ones meaning a new character is probably in the plans...likely someone who sucks...bet it will be as popular as the upcoming Ace Ventura Jr. will be.

Those are actually sequels and not remakes. I do hope the remake of Escape From New York never sees the light of day.

Highlander, Breakfast Club, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Terminator 1 and 2. I know some of those are already scheduled for remakes, but I wish they weren't because they're perfect just they way they are.
I'm sure I can think of some more...

Anything ever again.I hate remakes.
I know this wish will not come true.
The only movie I want to see remade is Pink Flamingos, just to see someone who isn't John Waters doing it.

I'd rather have Escape from Cleveland or Escape from Earth.

Ghostbusters should NEVER be remade.
Also hearing about the new version of The Warriors makes me sick. The original was awesome becuase of the imaginative gangs.

A film remake of The Warriors would be a nightmare, but I think it would make an awesome HBO or FX series. I would love to know more about why exactly one decides to be a Baseball Fury, what the seedy life of an Orphan is like, etc. I think a TV show that really delves into the culture of each gang would be tremendous.

THere really aren't any movies that, in my opinion, should be off-limits. With the right writers and director, a remake can be pretty f***ing good.

Citizen Kane.
A Clockwork Orange remake really wouldn't work, though it really be more of an another adaptation of the book rather than a remake, so anyone's within their rights to do it.
I loathe the day the Short Circuit remake is put into production.

Well they already remade The Hitcher and with remakes of Friday The 13th, My Bloody Valentine and Night Of The Demons coming out this year. Its too late. My problem with the Night Of The Demons remake is that the original was good and most people agree with it being good, so why remake it?! Especially with Shannon Elizabeth as Angela.

Also, Harold and Maude, The Loved One, Five Easy Pieces, hell, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest, and Being There, just for starters. Also, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. And Nightmare on Elm Street. Edit: I didn't notice that the OP was talking about movies we hated. I like all these movies.

On a side note, Godfather Part III wasn't nearly as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. (Aside from Sofia Coppola) it's not that bad!
