I remember hearing of it, but I never gotta try it. I don't think it ever hit Central PA.
I always get it confused with It soda, a local brand that was sold at Sheetz (and I think exclusive). It was really good and It relatively cheap, It just had a stupid name.
Ok soda seemed the same way.
It's like my dad told me, when he was around 18 he started smoking some cigarettes called Real. He finally quit because he got tired of asking "Can I get some Real cigarettes?" and the employees saying "they're all real cigarettes, what kind do you want Marbs? Camels?"

Ok was aptly named. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great... etc.

According to a woman from coke it was made from the first batch of soda when they transitioned the machines from making WHATEVER into Coke again. be it Orange Soda, Sprite or whatever. They used to throw it out now they just sold it. They do the same thing now with Airheads MYSTERY flavors.
I called up the # 1800-I Feel OK or something like that and thats the shpeil I got. I was 11 or 12 and I thought OK was its own company and they gave out Coke's # so we could harass them.

That makes sense. A friend of mine and I mixed a lil Coke and some orange Slice at Taco Bell ( I don't really remember why) and it tasted exactly like OK. So it's technically still on the market.

If you mix Coke, Orange Soda, and Sprite just right...........it tastes exactly like OK.

Ah, yes, that'd be the missing ingredient.
Though I tried to make home made Sprite once.. there's more to it than lemon and lime.

Calling it OK was an overstatement, that stuff was terrible. I remember everyone being really excited when it came out because they had a very successful marketing campaign leading up to it but then it disappeared pretty quickly because it tasted awful.
If you liked it, that's your opinion, but I say that stuff was horrible and history is on my side this time.
