You ever been in a comic book shop or a game/hobby shop and seen those little figures of comic book heroes on a little circle stand? That's HeroClix....better yet, a pic: EDIT: It is a table top game, kind of like WarHammer and other games of the ilk.

Are the clear plastic thingamabobs supposed to make it look like they are flying? Yeah. The ones with the little clear stand are ones that are flying.

Never seen those before. Kinda cool, but they work for a game? The whole mini figure craze like Lego figures, and the blocky ones I never understood. Ah well. Continue.

While HeroClix is a game, a good number of people just bought the figures cause they are really f***ing awesome, especially the HUGE Fin Fang Foom statue(regular figures are like 1 inch tall, FFF's figure is nearly 2 feet tall).

When did they stop making Classic Battletech stuff? It was not even listed on their website (though Mechwarrior still was).

yeah this ranks pretty low on horrible things topps has done. Like buying game worn jerseys of guys like Ruth, Gehrig, Aaron and then chopping them into a thousand pieces to put on cards in the over priced super-premium card sets. $5.99 for a pack of 6 cards and a 1 in 150,000 chance of getting a jersey card.
