I mark out all the time reading comics. The last big one was the last page of Secret Invasion #4, that featured the arrival of Thor and then the glimpse of Captain America rushing to join him. I think this thread is proving that nobody brings the mark-out moments like Thor. I guess because Thor makes more of an event out of his arrival on the scene than anyone else in comics history. Dude is just amazing.

Leave it to Herc' to out-do Robo-Thor.
That's really the only thing that Robo-Thor couldn't do like Thor: Be cool.

I hate to say it, but...Magneto is Xorn. Reading that, as I was pretty involved in the comic at the time, my heart jumped into my throat. Hey, Magneto being Xorn was cool. Marvel retconning it so that it wasn't really Magneto but Xorn thinking he was magneto was not.

in the newest issue of deadpool SPOILERS!!! Bob agent of hydra appeared and I jumped up and marked out in my little comic book geek way. END SPOILERS! So what were some of your comic book moments that made you mark out? that would have been an awesome moment for me too if I didn't know it was coming thanks to the solicits, which much like movie trailers these days, spoil way too much of what's gonna happen oh well, last time I marked over a comic was during the most recent ish of Wolverine (Millar's "Old Man Logan" arc) where it is revealed that what drove Logan to quit being Wolverine was Mysterio tricking him into murdering all of his fellow X-Men. My jaw dropped over that one

I'm Surprised Marvel didn't just say "Oh it wasn't Reed Richards, It was Reed Richards possessed By Doctor Doom. That monster caused the death of Golliath". REED RICHARDS IS A DOUCHE (And I'm not in the Doom Character at this point)

Pym told Peter Parker in Civil War that it was Tony that grabbed a lock of Thor's hair from his couch during the very first Avengers meeting for just such a thing. Richards and Pym (I believe the Skrull nabbed him after the Civil War...I'm not sure though) actually built the Thor-borg, but it was apparently Tony's idea.

Still, it's a little unbelievable that Stark's had the contintency plan for a Thor clone for 40 years, even with the sliding timeline s***.

Both of Batmans fights with the mutant leader in Dark Knight Returns, as well as the superman fight at the end (i love bruces speech at the end,,"I want you to remember clark, in your most private moments, i want you to remember, the one man who beat you").
