What type of Wrestling fan am I

Hi

I'm pretty bored so I just thought I'd share my experience as a WWE fan to see if anyone is the same as me.

I used to watch Raw every week during the attitude era, however since maybe 2002, however I then stopped watching but kept up to date via internet websites such as Rajah.com and wrestlecrap

I enjoy the WWE story lines but I find it really difficult to watch a match lasting longer than 7 minutes. My favourite match of all time is Ric Flair vs Macho Man at WM8. Then prob The Rock vs Triple H at Summerslam 1998.

The last full match I saw was Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels at Summerslam 2002. Its prob my 3rd favourite match

I don't go on wwe.com so I actually have no idea what some of the current wrestlers look like, even though I know their names (manu, Cody rodes etc)

The only clips I see are the Botchamania clips on youtube, however if someone on here mentions a OMG moment, I youtube it, such as Mick Foley Edge WM fire table spot or Jeff Hardy title win.

I also

- Really wanted Chyna to be a WWE Champion
- Cheered when Roaddog became the Intercontinatle champion
- Don't understand why everyone seems to hate the Hulk Hogan title win at WM9 when the crowd clearly loved it (as did I, as a 10 year old)
- Thought the invasion angle was excellent
- Thought Paul Heyman was a great colour commentary
- Thought Vince McMahon interviewing Stacey Kibler for the job of Personal Assitant was the sexiest and funniest thing in the history of WWF.

Don't really know why I'm posting this just wanted to see if anyone is the same as me. A wrestling fan without actually watching wrestling.What kind of fan am I?

I don't like to cast fans into various groups, such as marks and smart marks or anything like that. Basically, the type of fan you are is the one that enjoys the type of stuff that you do. Some of that, I personally can't agree on, but then again, pretty much everyone has a different opinion on most things. Chances are, there is someone out there who will like pretty much anything, just because everyone has different tastes.

Though if I had to choose a type, from what you've said, I'd say you were probably leaning towards being a casual wrestling fan. Nothing wrong with that.

Theres nothing wrong with what you like. It's your opinions. Theres people out there who like some things and other things.

There are a couple of things on your list that I personally don't care for, but if I told you what I liked in wrestling, it could differ from what another person thinks.

I'll give you a freebie on the Hulk thing, maybe the crowd loved it, but Bret and his fans hated it and by and large no matter how big the applause was at the finale, Hulkamania was a mere shell of it's former self back then. If you liked it though, hey your more of a Hogan fan. He's only got about a bazillion of them, so it was bound to please some people out there.
