I went to Walmart earlier and I decided to stroll down the action figure section. I saw the WWE figures and I noticed they had the new Deluxe Aggression figures. And much to my surprise...
THEY WERE SOLD OUT OF ZACK RYDER'S FIGURE.
However they had multiple Curt Hawkins figures on the shelf right next to the vintage 1980's classic Vince McMahon figure.
I almost bought one out of pity.

Hawkins doesn't say "Woo Woo Wee Woo", hence why his figure doesn't sell.

I'm surprised you don't have to buy them as a set.
That happened once when I went to Walmart, and they were out of Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms, and had like 8 Batistas.

Are Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder even different people? I have it on good authority that they are in fact the same person, and the fact that there are two of them on screen is all done through CGI.

Oh and they had plenty of the Paul Burchill Deluxe Aggression figure and the Katie/Paul two-pack.
I almost bought the lone Santino that was left just so I could put him on my computer stand playing the air trombone.

At least your store has those sets!
We just got DA 16 I believe. Just got the Gold Standard, Edge, and Nunzio.

Why the hell are they selling Hawkins and Ryder seperately?? Tag teams - especially ones where the duo is visually similar - usually always come in 2 packs.
(BTW, I still see Gymini 2-packs in stores here and there.....and they've been gone for over 2 years!)

Why exactly would someone want a Zack Ryder figure anyway?

Im actually glad they sold them as single...becuase I dont have a TRU here and buying online is hellacious on my wallet.

I heard from a toy collector friend that there was an improper paint application on the Ryder figures so they are worth more on the secondary market.
This is not unheard of, like when Jakks first released the realscan figures a few years back, in the first run of figures they forgot to print the tatoo on Lita's shoulder. And there was a figure of Stephanie McMahon that was made without panties painted on under her miniskirt.

So that Ryder figure will worth more than 2$ in some years...

Okay, I'm a fan of the Majors Bros., but you could literally put a "Zack Ryder" label on a Curt Hawkins figure, and I bet you 100 dollars not a single soul would be able to tell the difference.

One Dirt Sheet episode was dedicated to the debut of Ryder's catchphrase.
