I was watching a lot of matches from 1996 and 1997 this past weekend and the matches that always stuck out as most enjoyable to me were the Owen Hart matches. If WWE ever put out a 2 or 3 disc DVD set -- I'm dreaming here, I know -- what matches do you think deserve to be on it? From his early career in Stampede to work in Japan and of course his run with the WWF. There were lots, but if you had to choose, would would you like to see on a Best of Owen Hart DVD?

You know, to be honest, Owen was okay in the ring but I dont think he did enough to warrant a 2 or 3 disc DVD set.

HBK-Owen: Winner gets HBK's WrestleMania XII Title Shot-In Your House 6
10-Man Tag from Canadian Stampede
Other then that all of Owen's best matches are already on DVD

He didn't do enough in the wrestling business unfortunately to warrant a 2 or 3 disc set. However I would love to see a 3 hour 1 disc on him with interviews backstage segments and all his best matches. Bret could maybe do voice over and tell his side of Owens career. Always thought Owen was better in ring and on mic the Bret just not given enough of the spotlight before his death unfortunately. His matches with Bret (Wrestlemaina 10 and Summerslam 94) are among two of the best of all time.

How about the match between him and the British Bulldog for the European title on RAW? The one that took place in Germany. It's on the RAW 15th Anniversary DVD, and it is AMAZING!!!!

Speaking for myself, I really want an Owen 2 disc set. I mean, for crying out loud, they gave PILLMAN one, why not Owen?
The match list would be tough since Owen did lose a lot, even if he did look fantastic while doing it. One would have to assume anything with the Blue Blazer might be left off. Then again, maybe not. There are givens like the WM X match with Bret, the SSlam cage match with Bret and the Canadian Stampede 10 man match. I'd really love to see Owen's match with Shawn prior to Shawn screwing up his back at the Rumble plus I've heard there was a match between the Steiners and Bret and Owen in the Mania days that was quite good. Owen's mic work needs to be acknowledged as he was just awesome being a whiny jerk heel, but also like to see some of the tributes from Raw is Owen too.

Here's my top 10 that could be included, even if he has a pretty mediocre win-loss record in them:
1. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart (Cage) - Summerslam 1994 2. Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart – Wrestlemania 10 3. Owen Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith (European Title Finals) - Monday Night Raw March 1997 4. Shawn Michaels/Steve Austin vs. Davey Boy Smith/Owen Hart - Monday Night Raw 26/5/97 5. Hart Foundation vs. Steve Austin/Legion of Doom/Goldust/Ken Shamrock - In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede 6. Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart - In Your House 6 7. Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart - Monday Night Raw 20/11/95 8. Owen Hart vs. Razor Ramon - Monday Night Raw 9/1(Jan)/95 9. Vader/Owen Hart/Davey Boy Smith vs. Shawn Michaels/Ahmed Johnson/Sid - In Your House 9: International Incident 10. Ken Shamrock vs. Owen Hart (Lion's Den) - Summerslam 1998

If it were to have obscure stuff on it, I could see it featuring one of Owen's WCW matches from the early 90's.

A two disc set would be nice. Disc one has a documentary type program on it and a few extras Disc 2 all matches
I'd buy it

Needs some Stampede stuff.
Maybe some of his stuff with the Nation in '98.
Otherwise, I agree with what everyone else said.

Some of his best work is already on Bret's DVD, the History of the WWE Championship, and the Best of Raw. Still, I would love a set for Owen like they did with Perfect and Pillman.

I would have: - His three matches + coronation from King of the Ring 94' - vs Bret at Wrestlemania 10 - vs Bulldog from the European title tournament - w/ Yoko vs Smoking Gunns at Wrestlemania 11 - plus, like they did on Perfects dvd, have people talk about some of his great ribs w/ reenactments

Am I the only one who thought the team of Owen Hart and Double J was awesome? Throw some of their tag matches on the disc set as well.
And BOO to anyone who said Owen Hart didn't do enough to warrant anything more than one disc.

And that's why he kicked your leg out from under your...leg. But how ultimately ironic was that wonderful line: "All you had to do was tag me, Bret, just tag me, but you couldn't do it because you're too damn selfish!" Love me some Owen, I really do.

I'm all for a Worst of Owen Hart DVD. From what I've read in various books his "bad" matches seem just as if not more entertaining than his great ones.
