"So Nice They Named her Twice!"

In case you weren’t already smitten by her, Kelly Kelly reveals that she’s a former gymnast, loves leather chaps and is skilled at burping names.
Does it grind your gears when people pigeonhole Kelly Kelly as nothing more than a buxom blonde with no place in a WWE ring?
It pisses me off. I’ve been training since the day I was hired, and I’ve paid dues every step of the way. I moved to Kentucky to train in OVW, then to Tampa to continue training in FCW and now I’ve finally gotten the chance to show people what I can do.
Perhaps fans are blinded by your beauty and just don’t realize that you’re a legit natural athlete.
I was a gymnast for 10 years before I came to WWE. I started in gymnastics when I was three, and had competed all over the country by the time I was 13. My goal was to be an Olympic gymnast, but I injured my tailbone and couldn’t compete anymore.
Ouch! Not your coccyx! So, how does a gymnastic background help you on Raw? After all, there are no uneven bars inside a WWE ring.
I’ve used my skills to train for my moonsault. And, truth be told, I’ve got a really good one. But I’m not going to whip it out for just anyone. I’ll save it for a title match down the road. I have all kinds of tricks up my sleeve, and there are definitely moves in my arsenal you haven’t seen yet.
Did you happen to catch that YouTube video of U.S. Olympian Alicia Sacramone decking that dude in the face?
No! Are you serious?
Yep. He asked for it, though. Apparently, he thought she couldn’t hit very hard.
Oh my gosh! I’m not surprised. Gymnasts are badasses—and they’re aggressive. In fact, I’ll bet they’re just as aggressive as some Superstars.
Ya know, speaking of packing a punch, Natalya said you’re the hardest-hitting Diva in the locker room. How’s that feel?
Did she really say that? Wow. She’s amazing. She was raised in this business, and she’s been doing this her whole life. For her to say something like that about me is, just, wow. That makes me really happy.
So how did WWE’s hardest-hitting Diva feel when she drew blood from the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix, on the 8/25 Raw?
I was scared to death. I thought she was going to kill me. But, honestly, I was proud of myself. I’m a lot tougher than I thought.
Who has taught you the most about getting tough and making it in WWE?
Tommy Dreamer. I rode with him in ECW. I was devastated when I moved to Raw and had to leave him. I cried. He’s taught me so much, and he still calls me to check up and see how I’m doing, and to offer advice. He’s like my dad on the road, but he hates it when I say that. He says, “Call me your older brother instead.”
