With Deuce now foregoing his 1950's past, I say we pay tribute to what was probably one of the best themes in recent memory.
I'm deeply saddened, but at least we have the precious, precious memories.

I seriously DO miss this team, Cherry included.
Why does the WWE have to break up all the potentially great tag teams? These guys would have been in legendary feuds with Demolition, the Harts, and the Rougeaus back in the 80's.

I'm glad that it looks like they're going to at least try to do something with him. His chances of sticking around looked pretty slim.

Deuce and Domino with Cherry seems way more entertaining than Sim Snuka, based on only one appearance as Sim Snuka. Deuce provided him with an actual persona and personality and it was even better when he could play off Domino and his "girlfriend" Cherry. Plus being part of a tag team helped give him purpose (winning the tag titles). Based only on his first appearance as Snuka, he seems bland and without a character.

I loved Deuce and Domino, with Cherry, but I'd be lying if I said they fired the wrong guy. Also, outside of the tagteam, "Deuce" was a rather stupid name, so I don't blame them there. Dude just needs better ring gear.

I wish I watched SmackDown when they were around. I've Youtubed them since and I think I would have marked for them.

Duece & Domino were the first tag team I had liked in a while. Wish the WWE did more with them.

I've never understood the D&D love. They never seemed over at all. Their song, their gimmick.........bleh.

Deuce & Domino (and Cherry) weren't the best in-ring, but Dammit! I miss the gimmick!

I wish I could be taken back, and turn back the hands of time. I loved this tag team, Domino in particular.

Big fan of the team and theme. Sim Snuka looks to have potential, I honestly didn't know he was this good.

The flying knee to Mysterio's face tonight was superb - it should be his finisher.
And yes, I will miss that music.

I was a big fan of the team in OVW, and was hoping for big things when they came up.
I knew Deuce was going to change, I was hoping Domino would stick around, keep that theme, and go back to his Andrew Dice Clay gimmick that he had in OVW.
I'm very surprised at the maturity of this board. I've been looking at posts from the past few days, and I've yet to find a thread titled "Snuka drops Deuce live on Raw".

I'd rather he do Sim Snuka. I never really got all that into Deuce N Domino. I think the reason they got over is because WWE is so mediocre right now. It was a gimmick that would have never gotten over during the Attitude Era. Them getting over is seriously like Rock-A-Billy getting over which I think could get over today.

These guys would have been in legendary feuds with Demolition, the Harts, and the Rougeaus back in the 80's. I miss them too. Especially D and D. They were likable as soon as they debuted. Loved them as champs and Cliff Compton was very underrated in the trio. As soon as they started arguing during matches I began to feel sad because they had such a good run in the year. Once Deuce threw the leather jacket on the ground that just put the last nail in the coffin.
