I was just wondering. I've heard of them, and know they're facing Chikara in this Global Gauntlet of sorts, but I was wondering how big of a deal they are in their home country.

Kind of, they have good-sized crowds, but they are kind of a big indy with a reputation.

They are one of the big indies, and are able to fill Korakuen Hall (the most mythical of building for wrestling in Japan, with about 2100 seats) with some ease. They have of the best talent in Japan (like Daisuke Sekimoto, MEN's Teioh and the rest of the MEN's CLUB) and the best hardcore/garbage talent of Japan if not the whole world.

BJW gets consistently large crowds while promotions like Osaka get a few hundred regularly, then go crazy and get a thousand or so once or twice a year. They also have a better TV deal.

yep. and they're pretty much about the size of osaka pro or michinoku pro. What happened with BJW in that movie? Dirty Sanchez is basically the more extreme British version of Jackass. In the movie The Sanchez boys had to commit the 7 deadly sins. They were in Japan and they went to a hardcore wrestling promotion (which I now know is BJW), they got slammed on glass, had their head cut open with glass, hit with steel chairs and light tubes (all unprotected aswell). Its probably somewhere on the net.

Yeah...
I'm not about to be googling "Dirty Sanchez" for 5 minutes of wrestling footage in a movie.

Yeah... I'm not about to be googling "Dirty Sanchez" for 5 minutes of wrestling footage in a movie. I just youtubed it... www.youtube.com/watch ?v=SqBkG18BNiU broken link due to language... well, at least, there was subtitle swearing in the first few seconds.

You don't have to break the links up, just post a warning about them.
