Each time I see this classic ECW clip, back when they were still Eastern Championship Wrestling, I always laugh at the insanity of how a simple crowd-request by Foley for a chair becomes an avalanche of chairs that pile on poor Public Enemy, and even knock out Terry Funk.

Woah, that's insane...
Was that Styles asking for no more chairs? There must be 50 fricken chairs, what a way to end a ppv.... Boo to Grunge and Roc for getting straight up though!

It was Styles, though poor guy, they wouldn't listen to him. Really, this just might be, unless someone provides with a better example, my favorite PPV ending of all time.

One of the things I need to do before I die is be involved in a chair riot.
BTW, this wasn't a ppv.

Yes, it was. Just because barely Legal was their first main PPV, didn't mean none existed before then. It was Cactus VS Funk in the main event & Public Enemy got involved. Hardcore heaven is perhaps one of the most famous ECW PPV names, but they used it way before they had mainstream TV exposure.
Unless, you count PPV as an actual Pay Per Viewing event, then this was a supershow then, one of those monthly supershows they had back then, which is whats commonly known now as a PPV. It was the one before the next none PPV then, which was where Douglas vacated the NWA title and took on the ECW title.

Opps. Opps indeed.
Seriously though, that is one of my favorite ECW moments.

No, its not a Pay Per View. Still, one of my favorite spontaneous happenings of all time.

The announcer asking them to stop wasn't Joey Styles, it was whomever their regular ring announcer was.
