When I'm in the mood for some horror I always stop by the arrow in the head website for his opinion. His recommendations haven't disappointed me yet.
After a moviue I usually stop by Roger Ebert just to see what he says. More out of curiosity than actually caring.

Used to enjoy Siskel & Ebert back in the day. Would stay up late to watch their show all the time.
And of course, this gentleman right here.

I don't think anyone can top Siskel & Ebert. Kinda stupid how Ben Lyons has THREE movie review shows on the air, when he only needs one to suck at. Leonard Maltin is ok for a laugh. However, I also enjoyed the pairing of Ebert & Richard Roeper.

Ebert and I almost ALWAYS agree on movies, right down to what he gets from particular scenes and favorite performances. I always read his Chicago Sun-Times reviews every week.

Another one for Ebert. I rarely agree with a critic as much as I do Ebert. I loved his review of The Wrestler and his criticism of people that say wrestling is fake: 'yes the moves are scripted but tell me, how can you fake a fall?'

The only review I have disagreed with was Cloverfield. They gave it a BTS rating when it should of gotten a Full Price IMO.

On a bit more serous note then my previous post www.dorkgasm.com. I've worked with the guy who runs this site at a newspaper and he really knows his stuff and is an excellent writer.

Mark Kermode really knows what hes talking about and isn't afraid to offend anyone, in an interview with Garth Jennings, someone whos work he usually enjoys he point blank told him his Hitchhikers Guide movie was dreadful, which Garth conceded.
I used to quite enjoy Jonathan Ross' film review show as it was funny to see him interview the star of a film on his talk show on Friday and be all sycophantic, then review their film a few days later and tear it apart.

Add me to the Ebert list. I've always enjoyed his movie reviews, and usually use them as a guide to whether or not I watch a movie.

On this computer monitor, i do believe his nose is bigger than my foot *puts foot up on the monitor* isn't that incredible? and i like Leonard Maltin as well. He's a very intelligent and entertaining individual who's an expert on all the great old comedy teams as well as the Universal horror movies. And his cameo in the Gorgo episode of Mst3k was VERY fun. But dammit, why did he give Laserblast 2 1/2 stars???

Roger Ebert loved "Tremors", "Ong Bak" and WROTE "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" with Russ Meyer.
That's good enough for me.
