11. Welcome to the NHKSatou Tatsuhiro, 22 years old, thinks that everything that happen around him is a conspiracy. He even figured out who is behind it all: The NHK, an evil secret company. "When you think anime, you think otaku. When you think otaku, you think people that dislike other people. Those people become hikikomori (people who shut themselves in)". So Satou manages to uncover the plot of The NHK (stands for Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai), after three years of shutting himself in (and rapidly approaching the fourth). In reality, he is nothing more then a NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), desperately in need of a cure from that "disease". He wants to break out from the curse, but going out and getting a job is frightening enough for him. That is until he gets selected for a "project"; it is a plan to help hikikomori like him in facing the reality of this world. Instead of the OP, here's the much more crazier ED: Hell, since I'm bored, here's the OP too: ::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::: (Will Watch, Won't Watch, and Watched/Watching)1. The Skull Man -- 9, 14, 1 2. Bartender -- 11, 8, 2 3. Planetes -- 4, 7, 3 4. Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen -- 7, 7, 3 5. Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo -- 10, 5, 2 6. Gungrave -- 4, 7, 8 7. The Twelve Kingdoms -- 6, 6, 2 8. Legend of the Galactic Heroes -- 4, 7, 2 9. Fate/stay night -- 3, 4, 3 10. Genshiken -- 3, 7, 5

Watched it months after reading the manga, though I finished watching it first. Great series, and the story is pretty original. I'd give it an 8/10.

This Anime shows you the real side of Otaku nature, instead of that crappy fanboy meaning the western fans gave it. It has a good story, and alright characters. I thought it was good.

This Anime shows you the real side of Otaku nature, instead of that crappy fanboy meaning the western fans gave it. It has a good story, and alright characters. I thought it was good. Satou isn't an otaku at first. He's a Hikikomori, meaning he locks himself inside his home and is afraid of the outside world. You don't have to be an otaku to be a Hikikomori. He eventually becomes an otaku, but that is because, thanks to being a Hikikomori, he is very easy to trick. *cough*following his high school senpai to a suicide pact meeting, falling for a pyramid scheme, falling for the tried but true guy playing as a chick in an MMO*cough* Hell, the only thing this series comes close to showing correctly are Hikikomori, but even they aren't portrayed true enough. Everything is over the top in this series and hardly anything is accurate. If anything, it shows what you think the real definition of otaku is. Also, just so you know, there is no true definition to the word otaku. It is like the word literacy, the definition depends on the views of the person using the word. That all being said, it was a great series.

"Kidult" is indeed another word for manchild. "Ababa" is the first vid may either be refering to a female given name or a red poppy, possibly even the capitol of Ethiopia (source: Wikitionary)
Anywho, the site I regularly use isn't coming up, so for now I'm using a different site which offers two doujins. I've actually seen "Welcome to the XXX" before, where the Misaki character catches Satou fapping, then he kidnaps her and forces her to do the same, and so forth.
Regular: Yes Guro: no Scat: Well Misaki does end up pissing herself Crossovers: no Rule 63: At least some crossdressing Tentacles: no Lolicon: Satou doesn't mind it apparently

I dunno the lingo, but an anime where the main guy is inspired to get off his ass and get a life...(as long as he is somewhat charismatic and not just annoying as hell about it) I can watch.

Well, I don't know about charismatic, but his screw-ups aren't really annoying to watch, and he does get better later on...
