well all of final crisis minus revelations, legion of three worlds, and rage of the red lanterns.
and I'm going to do it chronologically.
The reason why I'm not reading revelations is that my comic book store screwed up and forgot to put that on my pull list. Rage of the red lanterns has virtually nothing to do with the rest of final crisis so I'm skipping that, and legion of three worlds IS STILL GOING ON!!!
But before I do go on this journey, which may make me insane as a result, I do have a question. Where the hell does legion of three worlds fit into all of this? I'm guessing it's after superman beyond 3d number 2 but I'm not too sure, I know the ending of legion is in the beginning of issue 6 of final crisis but that's all I can gather. If anyone has any idea I'd greatly appreciate it.
And now I will go on a strange journey. A journey which starts with final crisis secret files and ends with final crisis 7. A journey which will show me characters such as the tattooed man having an entire one shot about him for no reason, and a journey which will have a comic in 3D. A journey which while it is still better than the main series of secret invasion, it is also written by grant morrison.
Wish me luck wrestlecrap forums, wish me luck.

Legion of 3 worlds feels like more of a tie-in to Blackest Night and Flash:Rebirth.

LEGION OF THREE WORLDS is a tie-in. I can't say more without going into spoilers, but without reading the last issue of the mini, it seems that the begining of an issue of FC (core book) picks up shortly after FC:LOTW ends.
You will want to get the last two Morrison Batman books as well

Also after my marathon final crisis readthrough I have finally understood exactly what happens... but I can't tell you what happens because there's about 38 different side stories going on all at once.

DC and Marvel both are getting so complicated with all of these tie in books. I know they want to make money, but I'm basically a Green Lantern fan and now they are making me buy 50 books to know what the hell is going on in the entire universe. At least when they did Crisis oon Infinite Earths, you got the 12 issue series and didn't have to get all the crossovers to still know what the heck was going on.
