With the Avril Lavigne thread earlier I was wondering..
everytime a youtube video gets embedded on a forum page, just like this one, and people come on here and click it, does it count as a single viewing each time or does it actually have to be on youtube.com?
If it were the case that every play of an embedded video goes up one, then surely a forum could get millions of views just by getting its members to continually click said video over a while, and it could become rapidly the most seen video on youtube. A thousand members clicking a video for a week would be an unbelievable amount of views lol

That would just be a sad sad forum than. Hardly. I don't actually mean do it, I just think it's possible. There are forums with thousands of active members a day, and a video could be played a lot on there. You see videos here of wrestling that get hundreds of views in two days, a video such as an "Avril exclusive," on her own forum must get a huge amount of views, which must add up towards the amount of people watching it, if embedding it helps the play count. Thanks for answering my question, or trying to
