Damn, didn't know Bischoff had such beef with Matt. Such anger isn't out of nowhere.

If Bischoff wants to direct his ire at someone, direct it at whoever is telling WWE wrestlers to use that company line, "the business has evolved since then". This is about the second or third time I've read a WWE talent use that phrase when talking about the film.

I'm sure one of the reasons Matt said that was because he was talking directly about his own generation and to keep on WWE's good side.
I don't really agree with him totally but I do think there are a lot more smarter indy guys out there who take care of themselves a lot better than they did in the 80s. Steroids aren't near as big of an issue on the indy scene as it was in the territories.

Um, wow, savaging a guy for having an opinion on a movie. Real classy there, Eric.
I'm so glad that a-hole's no longer in the business. Have fun with your jerkwater final grasp at relevance on the Hillbilly Channel reality channel, you putz.

Dang, Bischoff really tore into Matt. He does have a point though, but it could have just been expressed without most of the anger.

To be fair, Matt did look a bit silly praising the responsibility of today's workers in the same blog entry where he confessed partying into the wee hours of the morning when he had to work the next day. But the whole comment about Matt being a mid-carder who is lucky to get a paycheck wasn't necessary either.

Well right now I don't see him as anything more than a midcarder but he is a damn good midcarder who works hard for a pay check. Wrestling wise I think he is actually better than Jeff Hardy. Jeff is good but he was never the better worker. He was always more the spot guy that stood out a bit more.

That was uncalled for. Wow. But, can't hurt too bad to be insulted by a himbo.

"You are a mid-card talent that should be grateful to even get a check every other week."
Pot, kettle, black. You were a friggin' announcer in WCW before Flair put in the word for you as a man he thought had an interesting vision for the company. So you should be the grateful one since, for all intents and purposes, you were never meant to advance past PPV backstage co-hosting duties with Missy Hyatt.

I disagree to a point, after reading Bischoff's book a lot of how he made it to where he wound up made sense froma corporate perspective. I'll give him credit for doing what he did and making it to the top. He just didnt know what to do with it from then on.

Eric Bischoff, while an amusing on screen talent, is a small, SMALL man who thinks his opnions are some amazing truth.

Wow, you lambasted a guy who lambasted on a guy giving his opinion.
Well, if Eric Bischoff thinks the movie is great, leave it at that.
If he wanted to defend the movie to his death, leave it at that.

A small, SMALL man. That is one of the most important figures in wrestling's evolution.
In saying that, wow does Bisch have some hate for Matt.

It seems kind of petty of Bischoff, and from what I can tell, Matt is right.

Someone tell Bischoff the NWO is dead and he doesn't need to keep pretending the old guys are flawless and the young talent is worthless.

Bischoff sucks. f*** him.
There's a reason why Vince threw him in the trash. He did the old ECW a favor, since Eric raped their talent over time.

No one's talent got raped/stolen, they were acquisitions nothing more. They weren't forced, they wanted to go there.
As for Matt, I'm sure he's not going to go on a live interview and say that the movie was leagues better than the Marine or that movie that Kennedy released.
