For those who asked about rumors of a "hit and run" angle being inserted into tomorrow's Smackdown involving WWE champ Jeff Hardy and his fiance Beth, after speaking to someone who saw the final, edited episode, I can confirm that is the direction you'll see on Friday's episode.

Spoiler Update on the Upcoming Jeff Hardy Storyline

As noted earlier, WWE will be inserting a storyline into the 1/9 SmackDown where Jeff Hardy and his fiance Beth will be involved in a hit-and-run accident in Cameron, NC.

The angle will be ran like a shoot with Edge again denying he had anything to do with it and Jim Ross and Tazz also spend some time talking about it. In the angle, Jeff will be okay so he doesn't have to miss any events.

However, Beth will be injured and the current plan is to have Christian as the driver of the other car, provided he still signs with WWE.

After what they did with Cena, I can totally see it. I'd say he signed (assuming this IS going to be him, like I do think it will be) as soon as his TNA deal expired very recently.

I'll just be glad when he debuts on TV or debuts again on TNA PPV so these back and forths of whether he signed or not can finally end.

Or he really hasn't signed. I still don't know if Gail Kim is actually with the fed. She signed 6 months ago and there hasn't been a word on here since.

If Christian is indeed already signed, they may just be waiting for the Rumble.

well there are reports that she is travelling with them and she apparently shot some vignettes, ive seen a few pics of her with fans @ the airport with other WWE folk but the rumor is she will be fueding with maryse for the diva belt

Several readers sent word that TNA finally pulled Christian Cage off their website's roster page yesterday. There had been no communication between the company and Cage since he was written out of the company after an attack by the Main Event Mafia. Had Cage opted to remain, he would have been the lead talker and top face for the TNA Frontline group, although the belief all along within the company was that he had made his decision several months ago to move on.

Sources claimed Cage became less interested and enthused with the product and harder to deal with dating back to early October. In a meeting with Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett, Cage was said to have told them he had another offer and was siding with taking it, but hadn't made up his mind, according to the source.

The belief is that Cage has quietly signed with WWE and will debut as part of the Smackdown brand shortly. His TNA deal officially expired last week.

Vince was the driver. Since he couldn't move his legs he couldn't get his foot off of the gas pedal and he's been driving around since an hour after the accident when he crawled to his car.
