True film noir, like the Maltese Falcon, The Big Heat, The Third Man, and Rififi. Old school space opera anime like Space Cruiser Yamato and Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Late 70's/Early 80's breasts. Those perfectly shaped and natural torpedo and tear drop funbags that have seemingly disappeared pretty much altogether. Do you also miss the MEGABUSH of yesteryear? ;D

Space Shooter video games like Super R-Type, Gradius, Xevious, and even Star Fox and X Wing. Game systems have the potential now to make mind blowingly amazing Space Shooters but I think the consensus is that the genre is dead, which is a shame.

Not a MILF, not a cougar, but a hot mom. The one who wasn't an obvious sex hound but every so often she'd say something to you that would stick in your head for a week and give you dirty thoughts.

Not to be over nostalgic, but I mourn the death of the basic genres. Also, sleazy areas. Even the sleaziest areas seem to have Starbucks now.

The past. If not for technology, I can't find a really good reason for the present day.

Savoury Beef Doritos, they disappeared due to mad cows despite the fact they didn't even contain beef, even google has forgotten about them.

ZAYRES. my god.. the one off of Shaw St/Qunicy Ave on the Braintree/Quyincy line or the one near Commercial's one RT 18 in Weymouth? The Braintree/Quincy one man! If I remember correctly, the Wal-Mart at the Hanover Mall was once a Zayre.

Shows from Nickelodeon's Golden Age. I wish Vince McMahon would buy Nick so we could get a "Nick Classics" VOD channel.
Video arcades. The only time I get to see one is on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Media Play--man I loved that store!
Stuff my parents taped off TV when I was a kid. We used to have movies like Follow That Bird, Great Muppet Caper, and Muppets Take Manhattan. Many of these tapes also had awesome 90s commercials. But now, the only "kid flicks" we have are TMNT tapes and Disney flicks. Those are fine, but I wish they hadn't thrown away the more obscure stuff, like Big Bird in Japan.
VH1 as a music network.

Saturday morning cartoons on the major networks, before cable stole the audience away.

YES! someone else remembers these! i had a conversation with a group of friends about these a while back, and no one remembered them. i just gave up and figured i'd imagined them.
