This just popped into my mind. There are a lot of teams that have gone years without winning a title, and some have never won one period. So this is what league has the best chance of every team winning the "Big One" first.
Current Teams without a title:
NHL: 13 Teams Minnesota Wild Columbus Blue Jackets Atlanta Thrashers Nashville Predators Florida Panthers Ottawa Senators San Jose Sharks Washington Capitals Buffalo Sabres Vancouver Canucks Los Angeles Kings St. Louis Blues Phoenix Coyotes
NBA: 14 Teams Charlotte Bobcats Memphis Grizzlies Toronto Raptors Minnesota Timberwolves Orlando Magic New Orleans Hornets Dallas Mavericks Denver Nuggets Indiana Pacers New Jersey Nets Utah Jazz Cleveland Cavaliers Los Angeles Clippers Phoenix Suns
NFL: 8 Teams (15*) Minnesota Vikings Atlanta Falcons New Orleans Saints Cincinnati Bengals Seattle Seahawks Carolina Panthers Jacksonville Jaguars Houston Texans Arizona Cardinals* Detroit Lions* Philadelphia Eagles* Tennessee Titans* San Diego Chargers* Cleveland Browns* Buffalo Bills *
*Means it won a NFL/AFL title, but not a SuperBowl
MLB:8 Teams Texas Rangers (Washington Senators) Houston Astros (Houston Colt .45s) Milwaukee Brewers (Seattle Pilots) San Diego Padres Washington Nationals (Montreal Expos) Seattle Mariners Colorado Rockies Tampa Bay Rays
Use your judgment, future trends or just pure luck to pick. Just remember, in every league but NFL, there are rumors of new teams not too far down the tube.

You forgot to add the LA Kings to the NHL list. They've never won a Stanley Cup title

Baseball almost got to 7 teams this last season... They will get there first, maybe through contraction. Texas is a few years away and Tampa could win it this year, hell Colorado was the NL champs two seasons ago. The team that will take the longest is Washington

I was debating between NFL and MLB. It's definitely not the NBA, probably one of the worst leagues in the world in terms of parity and it's virtually impossible for any of the lesser teams to break through. NHL could with it's new rules, but there's still the established top teams.
Baseball seems to bred new teams rising and falling, even though there's no salary cap. And in the NFL, with the cap it prevents most teams from getting a stranglehold on the top for too long, plus with the playoff format, realistically you just have to get hot for at most 4 games and you can win it all. It's a little more difficult to do that in baseball. So I went with the NFL.

I voted the NFL. The Cards getting to the Super Bowl this year solidified that for me.
Baseball's an interesting case as despite a salary cap, you see a reshuffling every once in awhile. Hell, if the Florida Marlins can come back from the raping they got after they won their first World Series to win another down the line, any team can.
NHL's a wait and see for me, but I think MLB and NFL have better chances.
It definitely won't be the NBA, that's for sure.

MLB has been around much longer, so don't let that skew your perception about having fewer remaining champions. The NFL is much more likely than MLB, especially because of salary cap. Also, the one game and done factor allows less room for big team's errors than MLB's format.
It could initially be argued that NHL has a series like MLB, but let's face it, the MLB has countless more variables (environmental, pitcher-hitter matchups, field conditions, field dimensions, etc.) that play into determing its champion and a heck of a lot longer season. NHL regular season means about as much as a Vince McMahon "adviser." Same with NBA.

Well, the NFL has always had more party than other leagues with the salary cap and revenue sharing. Especially in the early salary cap days, there were some random teams winning the Super Bowl: St. Louis, Baltimore, Tampa... just very "nontraditional powers" you could say.
BUT, there is the possibility that the salary cap could go away after this season, which could lead to 80s style NFL, where the teams in larger cities with big money win constantly.
I think that baseball lacks the parity that the NFL and other capped leagues have, so you'll see the same teams constantly in the playoffs. However, baseball by nature is a more quirky sport where streaks and bounces play more of a role than just flat out physical domination (as you could say happens in the other 3 major sports). That's why it's easier for some random team, once in the playoffs, to knock off the Yankees or the Red Sox.
I guess that my point is, in baseball it's really tough to make it through the regular season to the playoffs with gross imbalance in money that certain teams can and cannot spend. But, once in the playoffs, just due to the nature of the sport itself, it's not unfathomable when an Arizona knocks off a New York, or a Tampa Bay knocks off a Boston.
Yeah, so my point is that I vote baseball.
