WWE hall of famer Ric Flair noted in a radio interview this past week that he has been approached by a Hollywood producer about making a movie based on his life. Flair joke that nobody could play him unless Brad Pitt put on 50lbs.

I would probably go see a Ric Flair biopic, he's had a more interesting life than most.

Edge did a good imitation of him though.
Seriously, I don't know how this movie will really be pulled of. They would need some really good actors that can look and even act like him and Like Frair said, I can't think of one.

Well, most of the recent good stuff (W, Frost/Nixon) didn't really have the people looking like who they were playing, but they got most of the traits and stuff of that person right to make it good.

I'd nominate Robert Downey Jr as Ric Flair.

Why can't Ric Flair be himself in the movie?

Why can't Ric Flair be himself in the movie? Because he would look horribly out of place until the last 25 minutes. In the red corner the up, and coming youngster 24 year old Ric Flair! (Cue Flair looking like a burn victim from all the makeup on him).

Ya me to ;D Perhaps they will find someone to play him who Flair is happy with. It would be good to see this movie. I would also like one about Hulk Hogan and his Carree.

Wouldn't you want to see the scene where he slams the 10,000 lb Andre right 3 minutes before he died? What about Hogan doggy paddling Trump and all the little hulkamaniacs to safety on the Largest back in the world?

But only if it was written and directed by hogan himself I can't wait until the part where Hogan pins Flair at Wrestlemania 12 in front of 65,000 fans at Skydome!

Robert Downey Jr. would make a good Ric Flair and I could see Phillip Seymore Hoffman. But thats it.
But think of all the prosthetics!

Roddy Piper needs to play Flair. "They Live" kicked ass.
