I'm still marking out for the guy who yelled "HE CAN'T READ" and made Orton turn around and look at the crowd.

IED is a real disorder, but Orton (in kayfabe) certainly doesn't have it. He's had his lawyers go through the DSM-IV to look for a likely condition, and is now using it as an excuse to keep himself from getting fired. It's meant to be a douchebag tactic.

It's apparently linked to steroid use. Way to go, WWE.

Yep, here's the quote from the Observer.
Um, anyone think of a certain person whilst reading that?

Yep, here's the quote from the Observer. Um, anyone think of a certain person whilst reading that? Well on the free radio show last night Meltzer was suggesting the whole storyline might be based on the proposed lawsuit that the Benoit family want to file against WWE, along with their general hatred of lawyers and lawsuits that aren't their own. So WWE wants us to all join in that moral crusade with Orton as the symbol of people not taking responsibility for their actions - and I definitely can see that side of the argument, I just don't think it's as black and white as it is wrestling storylines - as they don't know what to do about all the cheers he gets.

I know you're joking but Randy made up that excuse in a way that he could look dumb kinda... I mean nobody is supposed to believe he has it. I don't think anybody can die from this, can they? either way, I laughed when Randy said it. Dunno why. HOnestly I think it fits his gimmick perfectly. They are finally going the crazy route with him which is great because that is what he is good at. His theme music is perfect now. They aren't trying to present him with a disorder as in Eugene. they are going in the direction of him having a therapist and being madman. I really really like where htye are going with Orton and The Legacy.

Well...I.E.D. does explains Orton's hotel room temper tantrums That's what left me thinking whether Orton's condition is a shoot turned into an angle. It probably isn't, but frankly it wouldn't surprise me as creative is very open to that kind of thing, just look at Jeff Hardy's recent angles.

What was wrong with last night's RAW? I thought it was the best one since angle-wise since the whole Anarchy RAW from last summer when JBL brought out his special security and declared Martial Law and the main event was like Cena and cryme Tyme against someone else. the matches last night were pretty short but storyline wise I think all was done very well except for Shane's weak punches.

Anyone bitching about this is a clueless moron (not digging at the OP, this is a generalization). The only people who have the right to bitch are people with the disease, but the fact is there is a flipside, I dont think many people knew of this disorder existing and if this gives it more exposure, that could be a good thing. The fact it shares an abbreviation with something doesnt mean its offensive. Its your own lack of knowledge that causes that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermittent_explosive_disorderI for one had never heard of the disease before last night. And you make a good point, this angle could make people become more aware and those who legit have it be more open about having it. Also, the medical community can't help that the military stole their abbreviation (or the opposite way....depending on who used it first).

Meltzer tries to stir up crap all the time these days because hardly anyone buys his crap anymore. I'd be willing to bet he works for eight different magazines writing little articles for very little money.
