So if I claim to have this IED disease....I can punt my boss in the head and then threaten to sue the company? That is soooooooooo cool. Craig: If I could punt my boss in the head and threaten to sue the company, I'd be soooooooooooooooooooooo happy. So what caused him to drop a deuce in his female coworkers' bags? Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Well WWE doesn't want you to, but you should exercise your personal choice . I just hope it doesn't lead to more Raws like last night's. What was wrong with last night's RAW? I thought it was the best one since angle-wise since the whole Anarchy RAW from last summer when JBL brought out his special security and declared Martial Law and the main event was like Cena and cryme Tyme against someone else. the matches last night were pretty short but storyline wise I think all was done very well except for Shane's weak punches. My thoughts on the final segment of the show are on page 77 of the Raw thread. That said, it wasn't a particularly good Raw on the whole, but that last segment really killed it for me, just too many things that confused me and not much exciting. I've read the ECW and Impact spoilers (admittedly what they're doing on Impact this week is FAR FAR worse, but less consequential as they seem to get 1.1s regardless) as well. If Smackdown doesn't deliver, this is not gonna be good week for wrestling on TV. Sorry to get OT, just needed to respond to you.

Well on the free radio show last night Meltzer was suggesting the whole storyline might be based on the proposed lawsuit that the Benoit family want to file against WWE, along with their general hatred of lawyers and lawsuits that aren't their own. So WWE wants us to all join in that moral crusade with Orton as the symbol of people not taking responsibility for their actions - and I definitely can see that side of the argument, I just don't think it's as black and white as it is wrestling storylines - as they don't know what to do about all the cheers he gets. Meltzer reading way too much into things and generally stirring up excretory matter? Nah, not him... I wasn't saying it was true, I just thought it was an interesting thought. I mean they must've got their inspiration for this from somewhere, even if it was Vince or someone else bored reading Wikipedia . They should've got Orton's lawyer to be Jerry McDevitt though. He would've cut a much better promo

But, surely if Orton has a condition like this, it would be against any health and safety regulations in the world to allow him to compete.
What about the rights of his opponents? If the WWE wants to go all legalese on us, then they really need to think things through a bit more.
If it is a dig at compensation culture, and people suing at the drop of a hat, then fair play to them, though.

I.E.D. is probably a real condition, but it's one of those things that almost anybody could claim to have, which is what Orton's doing.

I.E.D. is a disorder, not a disease. Yep, here's the quote from the Observer. Um, anyone think of a certain person whilst reading that? Well on the free radio show last night Meltzer was suggesting the whole storyline might be based on the proposed lawsuit that the Benoit family want to file against WWE, along with their general hatred of lawyers and lawsuits that aren't their own. I didn't think of the lawsuit (because I didn't know one was proposed), but intentional or not, there are a lot of similarities between Randy's new 'gimmick' and Benoit. It's a shame that in this day and age, that a character on a TV show, with an uncontrollable disorder that makes them lash out is one that we are supposed to hate, and boo and hiss.
