The only disapointment for me was lack of Christian but I guess plans were set with Matt being the attacker and Orton winning the Rumble.

I usually stay away from the PC around PPV time... Wrestling then turns what its meant to be... FUN. I agree. This is the first time I've been on the forum today, and I can't believe how many spoilers leaked stuff... RVD's return, Matt turning on Jeff... I didn't know any of that going into the Royal Rumble, and it was way better since they both made for shocking moments.

MVP winning it would've been....well...kinda dumb since he hasn't done anything worthwhile in months. RVD I believe was a special appearance. Thats where the shock factor comes in, I mean did anybody NOT think Orton would win it? Besides the whole intro with his theme music playing and it focusing on him all the time ruined it. I do not want to see Orton vs Cena live again. I've seen it last years Wrestlemania. MVP should have won it and went onto face Cena. it would be new, fresh and would make a new star... what the Rumble is supposed to do.

No.
Of course there are a few places where this guy could have come across stronger, this guy should have done this or that, this feud should have furthered, etc. That could be argued with every Rumble.
This one had enough fun moments to be considered a success. Fun, interesting, well done.

Complaints addressed in order:
- Umaga return was slated for Smackdown, or did I miss something? - I don't want to see Miz and Morrison broken up. Besides, I'm glad that teams can now have arguments that don't automatically lead to a breakup. - Why? Because Shad would've done a better job playing cannon fodder? - Pardon me if I'm not heartbroken that CHAVO wasn't in the Rumble. - Granted Rey beating the odds is wearing thin, but he's got the fanbase to justify a long Rumble run. - MVP didn't need a funny elimination when Ziggler and Santino filled the roles. - Morrison and Carlito had interaction, and pretty much irrelevant to the Rumble as a whole. - Zeke saving Kendrick has already been done. - The Legacy is being put over. We've needed a strong heel faction for a long time now. - Would've not made sense to have HBK in the Rumble given the JBL storyline. - RVD wasn't ruined for me. Then again, I don't seek out spoilers. - Kane was awesome, so no shame in his elimination. - Ziggler and Santino are punchlines right now, which is where they should be. - Khali's elimination made Kozlov look stronger, and we didn't have to endure half a Rumble of nothing but brain chops and headbutts.

I don't know if any of the other recent ones only went to 45 mins or so. But it was entertaining, so I can't complain too much. I thought it went nearly an hour.

I didnt hate it, but i thought it could have been better. - Many of the eliminations were pretty average, only a few seemed like good spots (Big Show, Undertaker, Goldust, CM Punk, Kendrick, Ziggler and Santino) - There were too many big names at the start i felt, Triple H, Orton, Mysterio and Jericho. - Jericho didnt do anything apart from lamely elimnating RVD. Im sorry Chris - The Ring was too full by the time Big Show and emptied quickly from that point on. Seemed pointless having that many people in the ring, only too have them thrown out quickly. - Despite Mysterio being in for so long, his elimination was crap. Just sought of fell off the apron. -RVD didnt eliminate anyone. -Jim Duggan? What a waste of an entrant, could have easily put a returning superstar here. -MiZ and Morrison should have worked together and eliminated a few. -Triple H. -CM Punk didnt win Good things: -Legacy working together throughout, great heel tactics! -Undertaker and Kane working together -The younger stars refusing to be elimanated i.e. Morrison, Punk, Rhodes -Cody taking out Goldust -Kendrick elimanted someone! -Hi I Dolph Ziggler -Santino, pure hilarity!! loved it.

I had a lot of acquaintances who were like "Omg this sucks. All this hype of Christian returning for nothing" Ret real. There has been NO hype whatsoever from WWE that Christian would return. Same thing with Youmanga

Um....so? HHH >>>> Miz/Morrison. Of course the big names are going to eliminate the midcarders. Does it really matter which one went in? Either one of them would have been nothing but cannon fodder anyway. And what purpose would he have served other than being more cannon fodder? The rumble would not have been any better or worse with Chavo's participation. Rey is over with the kids and sells a crapton of merchandise. And as long as he continues to do that, he's going to continue to be booked at least somewhat strong. Again, so? Without Primo in there, any interaction would be useless. I will admit having three people in a row come in and get eliminated within seconds was pretty bad. Especially considering they all had high numbers. That being said, this is TBK, who isn't all that much bigger than Rey. If you're going to say that Rey should get a quick elimination, then TBK should as well. And the day TBK starts selling HALF as much merchandise and is HALF as over with the crowd as Rey is, then you'll start seeing him being booked stronger. But as long as he continues to get Conway pops, he will continue to be used as cannon fodder. I will admit, this made the end predictable. I said to my friends "Taker and Big Show eliminate each other, HHH eliminates Priceless, Orton Eliminates HHH." And I was spot on. This is true. HBK always puts on a good show, and he would have added to the match. It's too bad that he's mired in the JBL storyline which will eventually lead to an HBK/JBL Wrestlemania match that's sure to be rated as one of HBK's worst ever. Not to me it wasn't. I still sat there wondering when he was going to come in and still enjoyed his performance. I may be in the minority here, but hearing about RVD's return actually made me anticipate the match MORE rather than less. What....you really didn't think he had a chance of winning, did you? The chances of Kane headlining Wrestlemania are slim, none, and less than zero. He himself doesn't want that kind of pressure, and it's well known that he's perfectly happy in his mid-card/JTTS role. Kane has been booked the same way in virtually every rumble match......Booked strong, but eliminated. Ziggler is (and probably always will be) cannon fodder. And many people predicted Santino to have a comedy exit that beats the Warlord's record, which is exactly what he got. No surprises here. Plus, they were both eliminated by Kane. You can't have it both ways. Either Kane is booked strong by eliminating cannon fodder like Ziggler and Santino, or he's booked weak by being eliminated by top guys and eliminating nobody himself. Ziggler and Santino served their purpose. I thought it was a good way to build up Koslov. Khali is little more than a big comedy face now, and I thought that Koslov eliminating him was a great way to build him up. Granted, this was negated about 2.5 seconds later when HHH so quickly and easily eliminated Koslov like he didn't even matter. All in all, I thought the Rumble match was pretty good, even though the ending was quite predictable. Side note: Was it just me, or was there much less than 90 seconds between some of the participants? I wasn't the only one who noticed, either, but some times seemed to have gone less than a minute. Could be wrong, though. Didn't exactly sit there with a stopwatch.

RVD's surprise wasn't ruined for me. I knew nothing about it...didn't see it posted anywhere and when I heard his music, I was like "WHA? ". Why would MVP have a funny elimination anyway?

Why waste it in a Royal Rumble? See Umaga. But Morrison did well in the beginning Meh It made sense him not being there after the table spot Agreed 100%. Enough already with Rey lasting hours. He shoild be eliminated Kendrick style. Instead he's harder to get rid of than Big Show or Khali. MVP's losing streak is kindo over, so he had a good showing and a regular elimination. They did had a bit of a confrontation, nothing major, but the Rumble ain't the best place for that anymore, especially with a shorter interval between entrants. It could have been cool, but heh... Agreed. It gave away the ending, as if it wasn't an easy guess already. Sadly we have to get used to have those lackeys around HBK was featured in the Cena v JBL match, and it was more than enough Just stay away from spoilers and news... I didn't read a thing and I was surprised. Agreed again, but that's how Kane has always been booked. Awesome but always falling short Both elimination were awesomely ridiculous. There wasn't a better way to use two comedy wrestlers True, but unless they book Khali to destroy anything in sight, any other elimination would look lame.

My only disapointment is that I thought Evan Borune was to be returning around this time and I was hoping they'd do a spot where Knox is about to eliminate Mysterio and Bourne would be the next guy and save them.
Being that Bourne wasn't advertised, I have no right to complain about him not being there and so other than that, it was a great rumble match.
And I liked that they finally had people work as a unit until the end, I would've liked to see what Rhodes and DiBiasi would've done if HHH was eliminated before them. Would they have taken the dive or would they have went after their leader, that would've been good stuff.
