I totally marked for him dancing around after eliminating someone, only to be thrown out immediately...almost...by HHH. If he would have done that every time he eliminated someone, I think he could have done it 3 or 4 more times before it got annoying.

I liked the quick elimination. Kendrick got way too cocky and started dancing. If someone doesn't take advantage of that it goes against the Rumble.

Isn't it a pretty usual rumble spot that if somebody dances after he eliminates someone, he gets eliminated himself immediately?

I thought it was a good spot. TBK eliminated Kofi, got cocky and starting dancing, then pronto gets eliminated. It works but I forgot, every time HHH eliminates someone its a 'burial.'

I don't get why people have problems with wrestlers getting eliminated quickly. Unless you Warlord or now, Santino, it doesn't really matter. HTM mentioned this a while back... being in for a minute or so is a wrestler's dream... a nice payday for minimal work and it's not like it matters in a month or so.
Plus, he'll likely bounce back and get a spot in MITB at Mania.

I was amazed he got to eliminate someone. It was probably a nice moment for him personally - his first Rumble and all that. Doesn't mean he'll be buried or whatever.
Wouldn't have mind if he busted out The Kendrick though, but meh, whaddya gonna do?

Reading the stats this morning, his short stay was the only one that bugged me (that and Shelton's - I mean, really......his last few Rumble appearances have been utterly pointless) - because it seems like a strong midcarder and because his was the first of 3 (in a row!) less-than-50 second stays.
But reading that he got tossed while doing that dance bugs me much less now.

I too don't get the Kendrick love. We're supposed to hate heels, right? He bores me on SD (Zeke is the more interesting/entertaining part of the equation).

I wanted him to stay in longer because he's seriously my favorite part of SmackDown, but I also understand the comedy spot. I do however think we could have done without his quick elimination because we had Santino and Dolph get eliminated quickly aroundt he same time The Kendrick did.

Isn't it a pretty usual rumble spot that if somebody dances after he eliminates someone, he gets eliminated himself immediately? Yeah, and it probably happens too often, like the spot where somebody hits a finisher then gets thrown out straight away. Like RVD last night.

But that's the perfect way to elimate RVD - he does the frog splash, sells the fact it hurts him as well as the guy he's hit it on, someone takes advantage. Quite. TBK's Rumble appearance (and those of Ziggler and Marella) fit his character perfectly. He comes in, he sees someone in a precarious position, and takes advantage straight away (because he's smart, as opposed to street-smart), only to get cocky about it, and it costs him.

BUt it didn't play out exactly like that. Triple's first attempt at throwing TBK over failed because he was going trough the middle ropes and then without even having to try, Triple H kept pulling TBK's hair and tried again. I didn't look right to me at all. Triple H should of at least hit a move on him and THEN go for another elimination attempt.

He's got an awesome gimmick, can wrestle, was indy guy like CM Punk, and is pushed even though he is small. He's also a better rapper than John Cena, if you saw their little feud when he was spanky.

i think it was pretty funny, although i'd have preferred it if they'd spread out the quick eliminations.
